how do i get rid of a male if one is female? cut at the stalk?
(i know 2 in 1 pot is not good)

yes cut at the bottom of the stalk , the roots will decompose.

You should be ok. If you have active bacteria in the soil they will eat that shit. If you don't give em a tea with some worm castings to make sure. Hydro it would not be good.

so the males dont have pistols but they do have some growth. i was assuming that they were male cause they had no pistols. i had my grow on 12/12 for like 2 1/2 weeks with no signs till today....some just showed pistols today but 5 days ago i was seeing growth but no pistols on the ones i think that were male. do you think the ones 5 days ago with the growth are males?

u wont get root rot, heaps of gardeners do this its called green manure.males generally show there sex first so if your not seing signs off sex as quick as u would hope then its probly a female.wen i go 12/12 males show balls at aroud 10-14days , and females around 14-19days imo.

o ok. so, i did see growth on two plants with no pistols days before i saw the others that showed pistols. and the ones that showed growth first still dont have pistols on them. so, i guess its safe to assume that those ones are males?
