ok lemme break this down for you so you can grow these out good

1) need more light for 3 plants, those 3 lights are enough to barely grow 1 plant let alone 3 in such a small space ;)

2) need more drainage in that soil(soil looks good in color, a nice dark black, just needs perlite added into it to make it more airy)

3) don't water as much, they are overwatered a bit(droopy leaves)

4) they look heat stressed as well, you using any fans?

5) get rid of all those extra cups under the one cup...you want the soil to drain, not hold the moisture in or you'll just make the root system suffer, and be sure to have holes in the bottom of the cup ;)

6) I think I'm done numbering shit for you to look at :D

lookin good man! keep it up. I really doubt that they are actually showing any sign of sex yet, but either way they look healthy. I would think about ditching the tin foil, good concept but not a great solution. Flat white is way more beneficial for your set up. Foil tends to reflect unevenly and can cause hotspots possibly on a plant. Just my two cents. Keep up the good work and keep them lights close and temps down. Good luck

there are 4 holes in each cup, tht cups were just to raise them closer to the light. yes they is a fan in there for the plants. and i actualy have roots that have grown through the holes into the water o_O and they get watered only once every two days. i just took this picture after a watering.

i usually only water once the dirt is dry 3 inches down. like i said, this picture was taken right after a watering

more ventilation, more light, less water/nutes...the key to just about every new growers grow to make them successful :D

water by weight, when shes fully watered, weigh it, when it weighs 65-75% less, water it. better under watered than over watered.

i agree with the water thing, big pots needs to be watered less and where you dont have any perilite in there that soil retains alot of water. also what light schedule they on. if you have em on 18/6 for vegging then there is no possible way of showing signs of sex yet and even if you had them on 12/12 from seed they still probally wouldnt be showing signs of sex.

them plants look really good tho for only 1 week in they are growing extremely well. i have some that have been up for about a week as well and no where near as big as yours.

anyways gl

you have plenty of light right now in my opinion. but if they keep growing at the rate they are it wont be long before you need more lights. i would buy a couple more lights in maybe a week and see where that takes you. you dont want to go overboard on the lights right now either and buy 40 more bulbs to have only 1 or 2 females so play it by ear especially if your on a budget.

i plan on using 4 CFL for 1 plant and people are still telling me i need more light.

the root development for a week is amazing to, its already grown through the holes of the cup o_O and its been on a 24/0 from seed. they are bag seed

its on a 24/0 lighting schedule.
yeah they wont show signs of sex untill you put them on a 12/12 schedule, 24/0 will keep them in vegg.

from what i read 18/6 is just as productive as 24/0 and it saves a lil on electric and lets the plants have a dark period wich is something they get in nature.

maybe ill try some 24/0 see if i get a increase in growth, could be genetics too some plants just grow bigger faster than others

24/0 allows the plant to have more photosynthesis. it is said tht you can get the best growth from a 24/0 at veg. as long as it has nutrients to feed off of
