Hello,

over the last couple of months, I've gotten really in to weed growing. I've always smoked weeb, but never grown it. After reading forums and googleing for some 2 months. I've finally came up with my own setup.

I'll be using 1,6x*1,6m*2m tent.
I'll be growing 12 plants. 6 Blue Cheese and 6 Lemon Haze.
I have 2x600w MH lamps for veg. and 2x600w HPS for flowering.
No soil. Rockwool (Y)
I'll be using 2x 40L reservoirs for feeding. 2x Water Pump - Sicce MULTI 4000 L/h. 2x Digital Timer STEP 1min - 3600W - 2Channels-

I have Prima KLC-2M Climate-Controller to switch on BLAUBERG BI-Turbo 12,5cm + cable - 280m3/h if it gets too hot in my growroom. I have set the climate thingy to switch on when room hits 26 and switch off when its back to 23.. Is this fan powerful enough? Should I get another same one? Or should I buy 1 really powerful? I don't have a real ventilation system built. I also use pc fans, working off a nokia phone charger 24/7. 2 sucking air out and 2 blowing air in. I figured that they cant do any harm. Since they are only small fans, they work easy off a 3.6V phone charger.

Built it myself. Its coated with mylar. My so-called "tent" is divided into two. Not really, but in my mind it is. Both halves have their own light and their own feeding system. My plants are now a week into the ?seedling period? Whatever comes after germination? :joint: Anyway I'm giving them light 24/7 with lights being about 3 inches off the top of the plants. How long should I give my plants, before i start flowering? I already know, that all my plants are female, I bought femenized seeds. I was thinking of letting them veg. 'til they are 4ft, then flowering. How long it takes cheese/lemon haze to grow about 3-4ft tall?

Since I'm a newbie I got some questions. I wanted to grow 2*4 plants. 4 Cheese and 4 Haze. But I decided to grow 12 plants. Are the lights enough? 1 lamp for 6 plants?

I will be using best nutes I can get for them two strains, and I also check my waters/wools ph balance every day. RH is also at 40%. Avg. temp last 24h was 23.8 celcius.

Is there any way of predicting how much yield I might get off my cheese and my lemon haze? Would I get an ounce of dry product off a plant? Or is it too much?

And before someone starts yelling here, that stop asking stupid question use search etc. I must say I have used a lot of search engines over the last 2-3 months. I have a maximum download speed of 2 kb/s and maximum upload 2 kb/s aswell. Believe me if I say that, I cant take anymore waiting.

Sorry, cause I cant't post any pictures. It all comes down to my internet connection. Anyway first chance I have I'll post you guys and gals some pictures.

Any help will be appriciated. Any suggestions? Any mistakes I've made?

Thank you all for your attention.

Wow... props for a newbie, im new too but smart like yourself.

I have been growing for 2yr now so...

I think maybe the 2 600w MH for veg is over kill. I just use T5s check 'em out, no heat, 50,000 lumen 1-3 in away and their light foot print is that of the fixture, mine is 2ftx4ft, and 1ftx4ft.
I veg under them because they spread light more evenly and give you inter-nodal stacking, so when you give them the switch they dont get so leggy.

Dont veg them 4ft unless you want 8ft plants in the end, Rule of thumb plants double in size the first 1-3 weeks of 12/12 to make room for flowers

Feminized seeds can still turn male 'cause of stress. 24/7 lights on for veg is stressful, whats the rush, they still take 8+ weeks to finish after you switch to 12/12

another rule of thumb: if you grow perfect you get one gram per wat or GPW, so 600w x 2 = 1200w = 1200g =42oz
THAT IS AN IMPOSSIBLE STANDARD BUT A GOOD ONE TO HOLD YOUR SELF TOO.

I use two 600w HPS for flower, my first grow was about .30GPW, after a year im getting .66GPW

1-2 week seedling ( up to six inch )
any time after that i consider veg---
SO YOUR GROW ROOM IS ABOUT 5X5 FT WITH ABOUT A 6FT CEILING, lets say your pots are a foot tall, and there is a foots worth of lights, fans, filters up top, SO THAT WOULD LEAVE YOU WITH 4FT HIGHT LIMIT

I would grow four plants to about 2ft tall( maybe 1.5-2month ) but no wider then 1.5 ft, then when you switch they will fill the 5ftx5ft space beautifully

Everything sounds good. I can tell you did some reading. Only thing I can say you will have a problem with is how many plants in that size room. 1.6x1.6x2 is great as a single room for up to 5 plants. Any more they will start chocking light from eachother and groth will stop. And sence you split it in 2. I would have to say you would be better off doing 2 maybe 3 a side. Will be less plants but more yeild. IMHO. Good luck happy growing.

I disagree, 5 in each half is doable. Just lollipop em and get some good air flow down at pot level. Trim off any overly outward branches and train ya plants to grow within a set space. I run a 12 plant grow in 1.2 x 2.4 and there is space left over.
