Yo HL, I've got great news!
I went and picked up a T5 for my small cabinet,
now I can go from one bottle clone to many without worrying about lighting!!

I took 4 clones yesterday,
They'll all go in together to join Alpha.

If they root, it's probably going to take them at least 14 days.

After that they'll recieve bottles and be shipped to the Autumn.

Thanks! I know it's not HID, but this T5/Cabinet will become my Mother/Veg/Clone cabinet once I do get a HID going.
So it was a great purchase in my opinion.

Unfortunately I didn't get the time to set it up today before lights out, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow evening.

I really like your post using the bottles...I am almost near the end of my first grow <Started Sept 10th> and have approx 20+ Clones of my White Widow's & Kaya Gold ready to go but, like all indoor growers need to maximize my space..I have 2 x 4 x 4 Clone/Seedlings Room and a 4 x 8 x 8 Grow Room in my garage...I have 13 WW & 5 KG with a few singles that Attitude sent as freebies, Acid, Wappa & Northern lights. Two of those freebies Attitude sent were auto-flowering <Unknown to me at the time> and should be ready any day now..I am getting ready for the second round and now after seeing your post thinking of using the 2 liter bottles. I could save alot of space and have a few more plants doing what you are doing. . A few questions.. Approx how often are you having to water the 2 liter pots? What was the height of plants when you switched to 12/12 and what was the height <approx> when finished? Did you start from seed or Clone? What Strain did you use?..If any of these questions you replyed to before sorry for asking twice I read the few pages of the post and the end..Thanks Rick
P.S. I also used the same Fox Farm Producrs along with Ocean Forrest soil & Superthrive. Three 400 Watt HPS Grow // CFL-T-5 8 Bulb 432 Watts Clone/Seedling.

Plants look amazing man. Born and raised in ft lauderdale what!.. I have been using 24oz bottles. Even with the 2liter's (depending on perlite/soil ratio) probably will be watering every other day. I'm only adding a little bit of perlite to the foff soil. Making it about 25%. The main reason i went with the bottles was to restrict height. In the 24oz bottles i have not had one push over 20", yet.. Using seeds mostly.. Start to finish is 70 to 80 days. I'm doing 12/12 from seed also. Need to get a veg box going .

my oldest kc brazil clone has roots so i'm gonna move her to a 2 liter coke bottle i started this clone in a 20oz coke bottle LOL this is why i don't have 20ozs for flowering...i use 'em for cloning. i would keep it in the 20ozer bottle but i think the light is getting thru to the roots as i can see a ton of roots and the tips of the leaves are starting to brown. let's see what happens this is a hella growing plant, fast as can be, but not sure of the sex yet, just crossing mah fingers.
after trimming Madonna yesterday we saw an add for superbowl...my girl Madonna doin' halftime

walmart and home depot have it, it's pretty common. i would think so but if you wanna use them and aren't sure i imagine you could just rinse them a couple of times. perlite is volcanic rock i think

I was only able to find shitty MG perlite at ace. I had to go to a hydro shop to get plain perlite. Home depot or lowes seems like they should have it.

ok been trying to identify thi9s problem in many forums with no luck.......so here is a simple straight forward question......will I hurt nthe rest of the plant which seems healthy if I just cut those 2 stems where the damage is. High ? C.Indica ?

It definitely looks like a deficiency of some kind. The plant is consuming the leaves for nutrients. . Got a lot going on there. I would start with testing the ph then go from there. Wish i could help more.

Its only on 2 colas? u really shouldn't chop anything off your plant especially during flowering.

well some people trim leafs to direct energy to buds and give lower sites more light but thats bout it

I just had a similar problem and by mistake I gave a few Plants that are 4 weeks into Flowering to much Fertilizer....It was 12-55-6 Super Bloom shit I bought at Lowes for $8.98 for 2 lbs.....I was only giving it at 50% = approx 6-28-3..........I gave 4 of my plants full strenth twice in one week...I flushed with 5+ gallons of Ph balanced water each....My pots are 2 gallon...The fan leaves still look like shit but, the damage seems to have stopped.....I have feed them only H20 since,,.That was 10 days ago...Good Luck...Rick

I found Perlite by Miracle Grow / 8 Dry Quarts..at Walmart for $5 approx...Now this time of season the Garden Dept. of Wal-Mart is full of Christmas shit and I was told the Super-Wal-Mart should have it still in stock...Every Nursery I have been to and the Hydro stores all have had it....I have seen it at Target, Ace, etc..Wal-Mart was the cheapest...Google Miracle grow and it shows locations it is sold at.. Thanks...I know more and more of us in Florida growing our own..I grew outdoors in Tampa/Clearwater area for 5 years..Due to construction next door I am forced indoors were I will stay..I used to throw 20 seeds in the ground..10 would go into Home Depot 5 gal.pots and I added nutes and water here and there and not much else....So,so quality and seeds were bag seed..This time I orderd shit so I knew what the Fuck I was growing..I check on them every day and now in flowering phase it is the best of times..I have spent more time with these Plants than the Wife....And had more satisfaction TOO....I want to try the second time to have shorter and more Plants like yours...I see yours with just the Giant Colas ...I fimmed most of my plants and once the flowering stage started they grew all over the place..I had only 2- 400 watt HPS but, soon I had to add another due to height they all grew.. I have a Mother that I am using LST to keep the clones coming and the height low..With out this site I would be getting no were, this Site has been Great !!..

if you use MG perlite rinse it off first! i got a bag full of nitrogen/perlite from MG, it was terrible. killed my master kush
