no smell, no taste, all buds look the same

so i just harvested my second grow, and they look the same as the bagseed i grew on my first grow. These are nirvana snow white, white rhino, and papaya. they look decent before i chop them, then after they dry and begin to cure they're all dark green with orange/brown hairs. None of them smell like herbs, and all three plants look exactly the same.

i thought maybe the first time this happened bc it was bagseed.. but now im stumped. i hang them to dry in my closet for a few days then switch them to jars and begin burping. what gives? they aren't covered in crystals, they smell like hay, and they have no taste. they were grown in ocean forest, flowered under 400 hps, around 10 wks flowering. i'll post up some pics after i get off work.

the temps were between 73-79F in the tent. temps were being measured at canopy level but a little out to the side of the light.

If you dry the buds too long before you put them in jars you will always have the hay or grass clippings smell. The curing process starts with buds that are just lightly crunchy on the outside and gooey in the middle. When you first place them in jars, it smells like crappy lawn clippings and all of the buds look dark and lumpy. Over time as they cure and dry for 4-6 weeks, the chlorophyll breaks down, that planty smell disappears, and the color changes (green color leaves). Hope this helps!

i find if leave the remaining fan leafs before hanging and drying i dont get that taste but ive left them on in drying and bammmm hay flavor and smell some one told me its the chlorophyl that in the fan leafs that cause this problem but im not 100 % on this like i said i just read it but it does seem to have solved my problem

well im frigging stoned and bored and there is no picture and he didnt mention nutes.

and on that note, its very difficult to say what might be wrong, genetics? bad soil mix? the nutes? is it arid over there (can lower smell)

still would be difficult to say, though its probably something environmental since so many strains show the exact same symptoms.

always the same growcab? always the same nutes? what hasnt changed?

this is true on many strains and only cured by 1-4 months of curing.

only two of the four plants have been curing so far, and not even for a week yet. but still. they dont look like anything special. during flowering i used open sesame, beastie bloomz, and cha ching, along with indonesian bat guano and molasses. and not all at the same time...

i read somewhere that once they get below 70% rh is when to start curing. so far only the snow white has dropped below 70, sitting right at 68% in the jar. or maybe i should call it snow dark green.

your bud just needs curing keep it in a sealed jar avoid having it in the light burp it once a day for about a week 10 mins at a time and just leave it alone it will develop its differences but after chopping your bud will smell the same they dont look the same based on the pics u have so no need to panic but burp for a week and leave it for a week from my bud that i had it took a while to really smell like herb got me high lol but it makes a huge difference when you cure it so stay calm and enjoy the smoke youll notice every time u smoke it as time goes on the taste will change

Thats why, When you cure your pulling water out of the center of the bud, and burp it for more like 1-2 hours a day for the first week, than every other day and so on.

When you burp, your letting the moisture that was pulled out ecscape

You need a proper cure, obviously your method is not long enough or correct.
