I've met 50+ people through a psychedelic website at gatherings... definitely a great way to meet really cool people... just be careful, as april said. It's best to really get to know someone on line first and get a strong rapport going before you even risk a face to face.

Kinda related but not this site again: Two of my very best friends in the whole world were made over the internet. We met at a gathering, hit it off so well, they moved up to live near my girl and me. They eventually moved back and we spent some time living near them instead! Now we live like 2000 miles apart and we have a very strong bond that will never be broken.

One of the coolest thing about the internet is it allows you to connect with people who are really kindred spirits and share your vibes much more closely.. if you happen to find the right people anyway. I guess that can happen in local encounters too, but I'm a fucking weirdo, and there are not many people like me... so it took some hunting.

Just a nice story related to the concept of internet meetups. :)

Not yet, but I'd like to meet Razztafari, apparently he lives about 10 minutes from me from what he's posted.

I've met plenty of cool people, and some kind of creepy people, but I know where I made judgement mistaks now. April is right, be careful, but some of the people I've met online years ago I still go to the movies or smoke with.

One cool girl from an all girls MJ forum went to a legalization rally with me and we had an awesome time blazing in the park with hundreds of stoners and music :3 I'm so glad I said yes when she asked if I wanted to go.

i knew someone before we were both memebers on this site, then years later discovered who each other were on here haha, turns out he is dating a good old friend of mine lol

Yeah i have met a few people off of here, my entire garden (at this point) has come from connections on this site. Good people with stuff in common makes for good times. Also a good way to happen upon things too ;)
