It's possible if it fits really well, I would use the grodan cubes, but if you don't want to buy any more shit I'd say try it and just make sure it's stable even when you move the system around. Def let it dry out a bit, one watering a day for sure, maybe two as it gets older.

i agree, I still need to learn my plants language, im gettin there tho, she popped up with the measles on her stems...P deficiency....dropped in 1/4 florabloom in my res, BAMMMM Red spots gone!...little things like this make us both happy! ok folks, im off for the night, janey is hittin her sleep 12hr sleep cycle(must be nice), darn plant sleeps better than I do..pz RIU

bro, I shit u not, my roots have been in the res i say about mid veg..but i mean if i were to lift this badboy out of the res, the root will be like 1.5ft, 2ft long...LOL......im tempted to try out the coffee can grow comp....i have 2 seeds in "gerM" at the moment, as soon as that roots out theyre being dropped in 2 little coffee cans (oz??) from there ill drop the netpot into the much larger folders can i believe its the 30z..i dont drink coffee so ill play xmas and buy it for someone, catch is I need the can...LOL!!!!

On a more serious note, I too agree with you when it comes to growing your first crop. Just the amazement and knowing that YOU CAN DO IT, means more to me than getting a 2 pound yield per plant ( Although that would be nice !)

question for growers....my blueberry gum seed popped last night, im going to drop it in a rapid rooters/seed plugs instead of rockwool this time, the rockwool turned moldy and killed my plant last attempt....any hints,suggestions on using the rapid rooter? does it need to presoak or can i just drop in the seed n call it a day? i will surround it with hydroton...thanks!

I was thinking a poll might be too political and people will be campaign their grow getting a lot of people to vote for them. I think we need to come up with some categories and they we need to have judges for it too. BC is making plaques and thats time and money on his end so I want to keep it as fair as possible and make sure the winners are THE WINNERS!!!!

Thanks BKB, the only advice ill give out right now will be to realize how much a plant drinks in a day. ive had them drink over a gallon, but thats a different story. be aware of how much your plant drinks and realize if your nutes are off too much it may prove detromental...

so tday i awoke to my seedlings, and uh, the blueberry gum ,the root seemed to have burned!! Wtf. this hap on my autojack seed also! as soon as it popped, i put it in rapid rooter with very little seed exposed to the light but just enough to grow? the non exposed part of the root is still white, but the top where the seed sits is starting to brown and thin out FUCK! like air dried it out... i have 2x 26 watt CFL bulbs like 6 inches away, i did the light test and the box temp is 80-83F.....my last seedlings the one below I started on HID bulb....wondering if i should do it again ;/ im feeling blah, seeds are expensive then they just fuking die. WTF! i have a intake fan and exhaust fan running, think i should turn the intake off?? maybe it just dried it out? my medium is wet its all wet!

***about the seed...im thinking I let the tap root get too long, not on purpose. the seed popped a day before the grapefruit did, but i left it in the paper towel cuz i wanted to plant them at the same time...the tap root grew about an inch overnight, I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE DROPPED IT WHEN I SAW THE ROOT!~ u guys think it will be ok???

on the OTHER random seed grow, things are looking GOOD!!! shes strong, i seeded this one under a HID bulb 1200lumens...maybe I should do that to my other seedlings...i dunno?

Damn that sucks, I know the feeling....My X got my 150 gallon fish tank with my 2' Silver Arrowana. I use to feed that fish feeder mice! He was a beast, kind of like your plant there, that thing is going to blow up very soon mike! Keep up the great work

That sucks about the tank, sounds like a bad ass fish! I have a 55gal with a largemouth bass that I hand feed glodfish and lizards and pretty much anything else lol.. Sorry to hear about the girl mike, at least you other one is beasting

well today after I got off work I checked on my blueberry gum! and guess what!!!!??? shes growing!! she sprouted her 2 beginning leaves(this is the one i thought died and burnt up), looks like the grow is going!!! woot!! all i did was move it further from the light. (haha) im glad I can be away from the house for 8hrs, because if I werent, I would watch the plant the whole time and eventually piss myself off..so my grows thus far are...: random seed, blueberry gum, iced grapefruit! question, the random seed im flowering, how long til it shows its sex? its going on 3 days flower...since this is my first grow, what do i look for? balls or flowers? lol!!!!!! how do they look when they first start "flowering/pollunating" misspell..
