I would love to do this again and stay longer . Everyone who showed up was great. I think we all will stay in contact one way or the other besides the board. A Potluck every so often would be great we all bring a dish and chow down. Then enjoy I still have beans that are unopened I know I dont have time for them all. Well if you come through the Bay let me know I will make you a seed pack i got some good flavorful seeds if you are lucky to get a female. dirrtyd

i made no marbles to give away as prizes or to the hosts. :wall:

It was such a beautiful thread too. Nothing but positive energy here and now all this mud slinging going on.
Kona, bummer about you not making the trip, you sure seem like a cool chick and I was sure looking forward to meeting you, but this is no place for busting out the f-bomb and fighting. We're all still high as a kite from our BBQ this weekend (not from the weed, but from the experience) and I (we) sure don't need you and others to come to this thread and bring us all down with that kind of language/fighting. I know it takes 2 to fight, so you guys ease up on Kona too, no fighting here. Start another thread for that.
I feel hella bad for you Kona, I think you need to just mark this one down as one of life's hard experiences, and move on, live and learn, and believe me there will be plenty more RIU BBQ's in the future for you to attend, I still want to meet you!
The more you scratch a wound, the longer it takes to heal!

A 3 day weekend would be perfect. Trying to taste the fruit of everyones labor and have a half way decent conversation is almost impossible (with remembering the conversation at least) and there were deffinately good people worth knowing there and here.

Something to be said with the company that was kept there when doublejj had to try really hard for people to take free hash :)

I just got home from picking up the trailer. When I went to get it on Sunday, it had a flat tire, broken valve stem. So TWS helped me get the tire off & I got it fixed today.
When I went back this afternoon, it was so surreal, if it were not for the giant fire ring, you'ed never know it happened. And the coals were still warm!
I found the elephant foot stalk, it was the only thing left behind. I sturred the coals with it & threw it on top. Stood there in silence & watched it burn.

This was more than a BBQ to me, thank you all

Surreal for sure. Kinda strange that the person who put this thing together finds his own stalk by a warm campfire after the whole thing was over. It's an Oman ! LOL! I'm bummed I forgot it ! we were gonna make a Christmas tree out of it and give it to you next year. Damn !
