Need help with opinions if moving on to flowing stage is the smart thing????

I bought my plant off someone and he said it was about 7 weeks old and if i wanted to move on to the next stage it wouldnt be a bad idea. I was wondering what you guys thought about it and the whole move on situation. I've had it for 3 days and i just put it into a 5 gallon pot.

I also have some issues, some leaves are starting to show a yellow color on the tips of them, i know they need nutrients. I bought some but this is my first time messing with the garden type stuff and would like to know if this is the right stuff to use; in the picture.

My plant looks big in the pictures but its only really about 25 inches tall. I know its a female for a fact and i would like to know if its sativa or indica and i little background about the type of plant.

Yellowing on the tips is usually a deficiency. Usually not enough N or P. She looks fine for flowering! Get started!!! Indicas leaves are WIDE and Sativas are Skinny and finger like.
Your leaves on the bottom look pretty droopy... How much light is she getting?
FoxFarm Grow Big, FoxFarm Big Bloom are the nutes I use.

What soil did you just use to transplant?, I ask b/c it has a ton of perlite, which leads me to believe it is already pre-fertilized(Miracle-Grow?). If this is the case, you might wish to go easy on those bottled nutes.

She is not getting the best lighting, i have her under 2 CFL bulbs of 13w. Thanks for your time

I used basic soil the cheapest I could find at my local home depot. The perlite where on the gallon pot that it came with, i just decided to transfer them also. I have not used any or the nutrients because I thought it might of harmed instead of help but now i know, thanks.

When deciding to switch to flowering the age of the plant isn't as important as available space. Your plants gonna double or triple in size when it goes into flowering. So make sure you have enough room and flower at your leisure

You not going to want to flower her with 26 watts of CFL! Make sure your going to be able to get a good amount of lumens before your flower. overall cfl wont yeild as nicely as a HID light. but if you dont want to spend alot of money you could probably pull it off with another 5 or 6 23watt CFL's. you wont get compact bud with CFL's from what I have read, but you wont have to worry about heat issues. put the CFL's very close to the plant. 3-4 inches is probably ok.

I have a big fluorescent 40w double bulb light in the garage, I didnt want to unhook it but seems like i will be needing it, thanks.

I had N deficeny in my plant. I have that same shultz stuff which I beleive is to high of N for flower BUT it might be good for your plant right now because it may be lacking N.

man that is NO joke. someome told me my plant would double or triple in size and it sure as fuck did.

I have a buddy that takes a clone of new plants, if they are male he sells them for 50 bucks a piece lol.
no the clone he took, the plant i might add.

Pre-flowering can happen during veg, a seed can show sex when its sexually mature 4-6 weeks ,and is a sign that its ready to go into flowering.
