question about water hash making

ice water (equal ice to water ratio) filled a jar up (pint size) almost full of water and ice, left room at top for shaking. then put about a little under 14 grams of coursely busted shake in, i shook for long time evrything went good until the end stage. fter letting it set and all that i could see like 2 g of kief at the bottom i did my best to get all the "plant matter" out with a tea strainer and a slotted sppoon. but apparently not enough. when i poured my crystal into coffee filter it was very very Impure and so full of stems and shit. can some give me a step by step how to extract the crystal outa the water?

k so i am doing this the primitive way because i have no money or anything. I made a batch using this method.

i need to know how to seperate the crystal out of the water without bags man. When it all settles to the bottom, is there a way you can get it out? and im having problems with stems sinking to the bottome as well.

yeah, thats just hard to do. be careful is all i can say. scoop the crap on top. use a tube to siphon off the water (like when people steal gas). then get that hash dry asap

You are indeed the master!! There is not the slightest possibility of seeing more beautiful hash than what you make.

My method is to do exactly as you did up to the shaking point. After the shaking process get a metal coffee filter (walmart with the coffee pots) Pour the slurry through the metal filter, the holes are big enough for the good stuff to go through but small enough for the bad to stay out. Refridgerate for about 30 minutes sypin (turkey baster) off the top about 2/3 and pour the remaining through a paper coffee filter you should have just resin remaining, using the paper filter press out as much water as possible and dry overnight. Sometimes the coffee filter needs to be dampened first for some reason?????got me why. Good luck!!!!!

Edited to add:
I have been told that pantyhose/nylons work as good as the bags but I havent tried it.
