I often wonder when i will see my riu buds again....
Mmj and jin .... lets set a day ...maybe ..friday ? or saturday ...before 6 ... cause we all know i strip in the evenings....

dst ... im just dying for ya to bring me some dam livers or dogg down ....
tell the taxi driver cheez sent ya... im sure he'll understand....

On a very sad note ....my cat died... i was crying like a lil girl all week...
Well not really ..but ive never felt this way about losing a cat ...
at least i still have a rat dog.....

such a young cat she was ...nibbbles... i will miss her...

seems almost better just to hold out until after christmas ... me and you both are definately on that kick ....so its just be better to wait for the buds to come down.... i think right now im around 35 days... thought i was furter(40days) but my calculations are that my plants will be 50 days old on new years eve ...so im thinking of chopping em all at around the 4th ...
But i know my compadre' jin will have some cured by then possibly...

Since the year began .... the same buds have still kinda dominated the competion ..in my part of town..
seems like the larrys, tahoes,headbands, sfv, skywalkers have survived... and new ones like the louies, platinums, herijuana og came in strong the last couple of years .....

5. jins diablo...for the stelller high

this year my favorite bud has been madman og ... which is basically the origional louie cut cross to private reserve og...
This stuff sometimes comes out better than any other og imo since the lou in 08 -09.... you just cant get lou like that no more ...

I have dabled with the private reserve , legend og , and planetary ogs ...but in genetic comparrison i feel madman og wins my vote...

I never had a problem with my Diablo's potency. But as we OG people know, it's about more than just potency. I was trying to get the shop guys to take a hit right then and there, but they normally won't do that and have to go by appearance and smell alone.

But have to say, I'm pretty sure these here Tahoes are the complete package. Even the dispensary Tahoe I'm high on right now is better than the other OG's I've been smoking lately. But a freshly harvested micro-grow? Forget about it.

I'm chopping this Saturday, so they should be dry enough to smoke by Christmas Eve. Ho ho ho! Mmmmmmmerry Christmas!

I thought I started the grow a little late for a Christmas break harvest, but with this quick finish, it's gonna be ready for SMOKING not harvesting by my Christmas break. I'm off from the 23rd to the 2nd, sitting on a pile of freshly harvest Tahoe OG. Woo fucking hoo! So if you're itching to try this out, keep that time frame in mind. I'll be home all day and high (hopefully I'll have pants on at least).

This Louie XIV came from a shop other than the one that supplied all the OGs pictured above. It's pretty good, but not quite as good as the average quality of the nugs above.

So this should give out of towners a better idea of the competition between micro-growers and commercial growers in LA. This Louie is not premium quality IMO... but the fuckers sell it at premium prices. I'm not trying to be a dick, but all I'm saying is that even the second rate weed we have in LA is probably better than the best elsewhere.

I almost wish u would wait till day 54 ... just cause i have a rule in my garden that nothin goes down before 8 weeks....
but the way you tahoes look off 47 days... looks like my best buds on day 60 ...
So with my whole theory that your plants have matured at a much faster rate they should be good enuff already ...
How could they be bad....???

Ive always kinda been impatient when it comes to harvest ...i know that once they plants start to yellow and die ..the essential sugars and carbs move into the buds ...creating a bit of a nice suttle sweetness even to raw dog ogs...
I know that im good once the yellowing in my leaves starts ... and usuaLLy go by health of leaves and how many white calyxes are still growing... not so much trich development... but thats me...
Besides i like a more uppy high ...especially dealing with kushes and ogs...

Edit: Im not the biggest tahoe fan really.. but its really one of the most legit ogs my club acquired ..
I recall u saying you dont care much for flavor ...
The tahoe to me is kinda like what u said on your journal review....
It has a hard kush note that almost dominates the flavor ... but a good pallete with definately pick up that chemy desil exhale note...
Tahoe has great potency , come to find out , and smell is a lil more fuelly desil than flavor...with great bag appeal ..
Really beautiful looking when you grow compared to most ogs....

Im more of a flavor guy ...and even tho i like the more old heirloom ogs ...the new ones are almost better in some ways...(potency ? doesnt matter i smoke fat bluntfulls)
Given if i walk in a shop ill definately take the tahoe over the diablo ...and probly the madman ,private reserve, and legend over the tahoe....
Theres really no way for me to get those cuts from a regular flower shop... since they dont just sell therre best prized cuts....
but when they hit the deck these genetics will be traded and members of my club jump at the opportunity to give my club the cut ...so everyone can enjoy it...

Yeah, I have to make a conscious effort to resist the 60 day thing. That's how I fucked up last time. That last ten days screwed it up a little.

Yeah, leaves yellowing, nitrogen translocating... It's all there. These are pretty much done.

I don't like couchlock either. It really makes you useless. So I harvest when all or most are cloudy and there are just a few ambers here and there. That results in the greatest engergy/ euphoria... but it's still sedative and helps you sleep when you want to. Perfect.

ive had louie from at least 7 other spots besides the 3 that i know have the real cut...
And they were either average or garbage in louie terms..
Even the real cut of louie isnt grown out like it used to be and is sellin at 35 or 40 an eighth now...at the true shop...
For the most part louie emblem has been thrown on so many up to par ogs its redicoulouis....
Goe pick up a kush magazine or gemm , or any club menu directory...
You will see louie is usually always up top on the menu .... but really some places will just put that label on one of there best ogs...

Im sure theyre are a good amount of louie clones out now .. that are true....but no where near the louie that mr van the man used to grow ....

I kinda am skeptical on the louie cut from my club.... i sourced out my own louie from another person who directly got the cut from the source.... since i know the source ...i know that guy got the cut cause he supplies for the shop i get lou from ....
I didnt keep the cut ... cause wasnt to sure if it was legit ....but it was good compared to most cuts ive acquired...

Dude, seriously? This Tahoe I'm smoking is top notch. I did a wake and bake this morning before hitting the work trail and yeah. I was feeling at least 15% happier this wake and bake compared to all them other OG's. It's a little after two in the afternoon now. The racing euphoria of this morning has settled into a calm, relaxed, sedated feeling. Tahoe is great. I can hardly wait to try mine.

Some of the best tasting OG I have ever harvested was 70 day Larry OG, well dried and cured. Open the jar and instant sweet lemon skunk soda smell.

I think the best way to find optimum flower time is to harvest some stuff early. Let your other stuff go longer and compare. I just had a branch break off at 55 days (oops) and those OG buds weren't that great but still did the trick. The stuff I harvested at 63 days has been much better in every regard and I anticipate my 70 day OG bush, which is drying, will be the cream of the crop.

People be careful when examing trichomes in a flowering room.

Those guys are right. It's getting fucking more gnarly and frosty every day. But I think me at day 55 is the equivalent of someone else at day 65 or even 70. These are ripening fast, Cheeze.
