Nope. Not much is gonna be left underneath the screen. Mostly fan leaves and I have started trimming them.ahhh i shoulda taken some clones from veg it doesnt look like the ones i took during flower will make it. you got a ton of shoots coming off that stem its crazy... do you not have a lot of tops trapped below the canopy? I just had to trim a few off minebut they looked more spread than that
I try to get all or most of the shoots to the screen. Reasoning for the low screen.
I rather wait til they show signs of sex before I pull a clone that way I know I'm getting a female.
I would have started this grow from clone but I haven't had a female Extrema to pull a clone from.

I'm gonna go today and get my exterior rez and set it up.
Float valves and lines are hooked up, now I just need the rez.
Probably go to Wal-Mart and get another sport cooler and use that.
It seemed to work fine last time, but I am using that one as a grow rez now.
You can never have too many coolers. Lol!
The stretch is on and they are growing like a weed.

Got the ext rez hooked up. Finally! It's kinda ghetto but it works and does the job.
I have it sitting about 8 inches from the bottom of the rubbermaid just in case there are any leaks then it will pour into the RM instead of onto the floor. It drains from from the cooler to the Y then branches off to the other 2 sport coolers and keeps them at a constant water level.
No my roots are not yellow. Must be the way the light makes them look under the HPS.
I gave a light trim under the screen for better air flow. Hoping to see signs of sex soon.

Looks gorgeous as usual Blu! They're coming along nicely...and FFS I hope you get a female Extrema! You've had the worst luck with that it seems like :/ I'm still rootin for you thoBe back for surez....happy growing mane
Thanks! Yes FFS I sure hope I get a female from the Extrema this round. Bad luck with that strain I guess.
These were my last 2 of 10 Extrema seeds so if one of these two is not a female then I will be done with that strain and find another one. If no females then I may just pull everything out and buy some Fem'd seeds and start again cuz the Extrema is the main reason for this grow.

Went and picked up a 1/4 of some Sour Diesel. It's pretty good and has a sour lemony smell to it. Pretty nice!
I have been looking around at other strains for something to grow next. There are a few strains that interest me.
Jin has got me wanting to try some OG such as Tahoe OG or OG Kush. Good Reviews on both.
Also been looking at Blueberry, White Berry, White Widow, Pineapple Kush, Super Silver Haze and a few others.
Would like an uplifting energetic high as opposed to wanting to do absolutely nothing kinda high.
Preferably something with a short flower time and good yields! Anyone have any suggestions?

I don't mind a 8-10 wk flower time. Just not wanting to do a 12-14 wk flower.
I'm gonna look around a bit more and see what I can find. Waiting to see what happens with these Extrema.

Hey there. Yes a good pump is a good investment. You want something powerful enough to pump oxygen up into the roots and bubbles on the surface when those roots get big and thick. Healthy roots produce big healthy plants. I've never used waterfarms but my system is pretty simple and maintenance free.
You can post a pic of your setup in here if you want.
