Some of my Airbrush Work

Here are a few pieces of my airbrushed work. I have done more than my share of vehicles, motor coaches, etc, and I have some published limited editions (that I'm not putting here). I don't work anymore with urethanes, lacquers or enamels, only airbrush inks. Most of my work is done on CS10 illustration board. The tiger was done on raw canvas for a Jurek class. The bullrider was also done on raw canvas. The F15 was done with sign paints on masonite. The "Appy Birthday Mick" and the guitarist was a birthday gift for one of my best guitar influences, Mick Box of Uriah Heep. Your comments are welcome.

Thanks man, Most of what I've done has been for commercial art. I only have a few pieces that I've kept, that's never been for sale. I've done mostly custom work all my life. Here is some shots of a Mustang that I flamed:

That tiger is awesome too...so life like, especially in the eyes ...eyes are difficult to make look realistic...and you nailed it man

Thanks Lime; I've always said that the body's life is shown in the eyes. If the eyes are "dead", the rest is dead. I probably spent 1/2 of my painting time just on the eyes. It's well worth the effort tho.

Sooo true!!! ...that's how we can tell if people have a soul...look in the Eyes! they can say allot without words.

Thanks for the kind words guys! Dank, that is some fine work. I did brush lettering for 12 years before they came out with the first vinyl cutting computer system. I did pinstriping, gold leaf, custom glass stuff, hand carving and a lot more. It sucks that I can't make a living at it now. I saw it coming and got out as soon as I could. It was getting to the point that my experience, training and skills did not matter nearly as much as the customer saving $20, quality be damned.

That tigers eyes man! Beautiful, anyone who can airbrush has my respect, but I can say one thing, the skull on the mustang could have been a bit more realistic and detailed to go with the flame because you went all out on the flame and it looks perfect
