alright so i have been readin about the best way to apply light to ur plants so i was wonderin if maybe if i were to get those cfl tubes at a hundred watts each and put them on all four walls of my grow space its small but has potential and maybe put a 26 watt on top so il have the sides of my plant lighted up while the top is too is this idea doable or is it just another stoner idea tht wont work at all

I'm putting 4 100 watt CFL lights in my veg room and am hanging them from the top and making them adjustable to do a scrog. You might want to take a gander at the "vertical grow" forums. I assume that that is what you'd sort of be doing with that grow.
Why does hanging them on the sides save space is what I'm wondering? Why not put those all on the top of the box? Might be easier.

It's called vertical growing, i believe it allows for more light to hit the plant from the top and the side, causing a rapidly faster growth. It also allows for more space as it leaves the ground floor free and if the setup is right plenty of plants can be arranged in a room say a 1x1 room can fit 2 plants on the floor, vertical growing could fit 5-10.
i was reading that side lighting really helps out ur harvest so i was like why not give all sides light while giving them light fromthe top so i wont have to scrog now cuz iwill have equal light on all sides i wont have to lst them and im gonna start them off with a 12 12 so im hoping this will all be done in a month so i can actually buy those lights (this grow room is my dream grow room) right now imonly working with two 26 watt cfl's haha
so ill have more room at top of the box just in case i need it and with the four foot tubes i wont even have to move em cuz thats how tall my grow space is
