Carne can be as gay as he wants, it is ok with the LDS church, he just can't act on it. I am not really sure how celibacy feels since I quit doing that shit when I was 15, but I do sympathize with the poor chap.

i am going to assume you have watched the debates, seeing as how you proclaim him the hands down winner of each and everyone (despite what reality suggests).

so i ask you, what do YOU think ron paul means when he says we need to let the market "clear itself"?
Because all the credit needs to clear, meaning either the banks create enough credit(money) to pay it all off which is majorly inflationary or they let the defaults begin which is majorly deflationary. Think of a tire under great pressure, you can either let the air out slowly over 20 years, or you can just let it go bang and get on with your life by using the spare tire you brought along (The gold Standard). In one scenario you have great suffering over a longer period and then eventually a major crash at the end, usually ending in a major war, the other way you have minimal deflation because of the intrinsic value of gold and things get back to normal in a short period after the adjustment takes place. Going to the gold standard doesn't make the "Clearing" process go away, that will always happen because it is yin and yang to the principal of credit creation, but the clearing process is usually much much quicker and generally the least obtrusive to the population, but many times more harmful to government due to it's propensity to create credit upon the backs of the very people it is supposed to care for.

it took balls to answer this honestly, and the spin you put on it was admirable.

methinks the american people would rather choose to drive on the slow leaking full tire though.

A. Ron and his clone..err....son have both stated that businesses should have the right to discriminate and would not have voted to abolish the Jim Crow Laws B. Quite a few states still have discriminatory laws against LGBT'sC. Anti-abortion laws are cropping up all over the nation which nearly makes it impossible to get an abortion. Some even went so far as to allow the jailing of doctors who perform abortionsD. A law was introduced in Mississippi that would have banned contraception and in vitro fertilization E. Laws are being passed across the nation to make voter registration almost impossible for the poor, minorities and the elderlyF. You know all this yet you choose to ignore it because your God is Ron the Paul. May his holy vaginal speculum bless you and keep you from harm.
Did Ron Paul introduce any of these measures? All he has ever done is defend states' rights. If states can't choose their own laws, why even have states?

If states are allowed to arbitrarirly discriminate against whomever they choose, why have a Constitution?

I see the point your trying to make, I'm not for discrimination against anyone.Different example, MMJ. Certain states have made it legal to use cannabis for medical reasons. Yet, the federal government thinks they know what's best and shuts down multiple clubs daily, AFTER Obama said they wouldn't be interfering. Sorry, but I am for states rights on this issue.

I'm glad you're not for discrimination. Too bad you don't run a state or represent the majority. Which you don't. No matter how you spin this, it is not an either or situation. We need to the federal regulations to keep some of the batshit crazy states in line. Look at the stupid ass bills being introduced and passed across the nation. Ron Paul followers are just like their God. They have these rose colored glasses that completely ignore reality.

Your fantasy that racism will rise once again is not reality. A revival of the 10th amendment will not bring imminent doom, regardless, this is not necessarily in the plans. You seem to think Ron Paul will just implement all these impractical ideas day one and its going to apply across the board, for example you seem to think Ron Paul will just immediately do away with all regulations in some sort of anarchist fashion in one swift motion. I think your the one that needs to come back to reality. You are greatly over dramatizing things.

Sure Ron Paul is for States Rights, sure hes for the the federal government being out of our lives, but you act like hes going to go in there day 1 and burn the place down. You seem to think hes going to eliminate practical programs that we have, hes not, Ron Paul wants to keep medicaid, medicare, and and social security as a larger example. Ron Paul is not going to legalize criminality, the things you speak of will still be illegal!

I call bullshit. Your spinning is getting a little better. Funny how he wants to open up the health care system to the FREE MARKET (I think this is some fairy land where all things are made better). He wants American citizens at the mercy of Corporate Health Care. We already see how much our health care system cares about human life. Ron Paul's idea of health care is epitomized by the death of his campaign manager who died of pneumonia. Why did he die? Because he didn't have health insurance. All the other presidential candidates offered health care to their staff. Ron Paul didn't.

By their works ye shall know them.

Please stay on topic, this thread is not about Obama.
i was not referencing obama, i was referencing your old assertion that we would all get a raise if paul were elected.

i was replying to your question of why no one proposes "conspiracy theories" about johnson. my reply was a bit of a jab at the cult-like devotion of so many of ron paul's supporters.

but if i were to give a direct answer, i would say simply: we have seen how johnson would govern, and it is a million miles apart from ron paul (based on the legislation he puts forth and the nutty things he says).
