2nd indoor grow - all organic from seeds

I found a hermie last night. With all the talk about fem seeds, can you believe the hermie was from regular seeds of Delta9 CannaSutra?

Behold it: CS3 (almost every top bud on the biggest plant had a nanner and there are a couple on CS4 too. CS1 & CS5 are all looking fine so far)

Did u pluck the banana? Or do u leave it? Will that be a fem seed? What if a female plant herms out, what about those seeds? Will those be female seeds? What if you take herm pollen and put it on a fem plant? Will those be fem seeds? What are fem seeds? I've always just grown plants out then removed males, all thes hermi shit is new to me, but if I could do my own fem seeds it would save me some trouble I guess?

hey johny - i just chopped down the entire plant (cs3) and will plug another one in it's place soon. The other plant CS4 only has a couple nanners, so since it's in the corner of the room i said screw it and let it be.

i believe since both herms were female at first, they will be xx, so if the pollen is viable, the seeds should be female too. The nanners didn't look like they were releasing pollen (they just looked so different than a male pollenating), so I'm not too worried.

fyi johny - almost all the seedbanks sell the feminized seeds. that might work for you better. i personally will never buy them again because i intend to make viable seeds of my own so i no longer have to support others for good medical genetics. call me cheap!

So I have a plant that is full of bud but there were some nanners on it, I know for a fact that they have bust and pollinated the plant next too it, but there is only a few seeds, because I have been paying crazy attention to it and plucking them off when I saw them.. It is def from the nanas, the other plant was def female... Does this mean those few seeds should be fem? I grew out a male Nd saved pollen> I the. Applied to my favorite plant and wrapped a double wide J paper in a cone around it for a few days and now, in that spot only I have about 5-10 fat stripped seeds, I plan on using those for my next grow, however, the plant that had bananas has some seeds on it now and the plant beside it has some... No way did the other two get male pollen, no way! But they did get " herm" pollen... Whats the deal? Will those be fem seeds....

i'm pretty sure they should be fem seeds. females that turned to herms should be a xx chromosome only. and the pollen should be too. just like the breeders who force herms or use silver to make fem seeds. so any fem flowers that get pollenated by the female herm's xx pollen should be xx (female) too.

xx + xx = xx

how bout a few pics of the entire plant... i am interested as to what it looks like? like what fan leaves you cut and the color. oh ya, buds look nice too

I need to do some maintence cleaning up some fallen leaves, but overall no pm I can find and the buds on some are already getting rock hard. Here's a few pics of the whole plants at 44days:

Looks good to me, did u incorporate soma's grow bed method ? I saw the PVC stick up and I am assuming it is for circulation? I'm a week away from starting my next grow, all organic kinda.... I used my tent to hang up my buds so I can't start for a few more days, stems aren't quite where I want them to be before I put them in jars...

Thanks. Not sure what method soma uses.....i'm not using a bed. i have 2 plants in each earthbox i have. the pipe goes to the water reservior at the bottom that hold about 1.5 gallons. this way the plants water themselves when they need it. i refill the water only every week or so.

Yeah, def don't rush the dry....i did that with my pineapple thai and ruined a about 50 grams.:cuss:

Most of this grow was finished so I have been chopping and trimming all week. The Intense Skunk was the first to finish at 45 days. All others closely followed and I chopped some down a little early to get going with next project I'll prob start in the next few days. I just smoked some dried (just put into jars and not cured yet) tahoe buds and it is quite strong. It took me about an hour to finish the first bowl. Almost as advertised. My only complaint is only 2/5 seeds sprouted. But dry weight on my one female is 23.3 grams. Not bad. I have a clone mom and am breeding her so I'll see what else I can get out of my tahoe investment. Best yielder so far is the CannaSutra #1 - she pumped out 30.4 grams. Best tasting and high is still Pineapple Thai that produced only 14.3 grams. Strongest so far is the CannaSutra. Not as advertised - I had a couple herms of the 4 females(cs3 & cs4) and the high is much more indica (I haven't smoked #5 yet - the stretchy sativa like pheno) and makes me not able to move after smoking a couple hits. I have smoke a lot of weed, but this stuff really made me couchlocked like never before. I will never smoke this during the day.

Thank fellas. Yeah the taste is already coming out in most of these and they are all quite different. I'll post a smoke report on all in a few days once I smoke enough of each and they get to cure more. The fun part.

Great grow man ! how was the intense skunk ? looking at growing it out commercially.
