Everybody and their brother are growin in Cali and trying to make a buck... back in the day if you had bud the shit sold.... Now with all the dispensaries and everyone being an expert on weed.... you are pretty much forced to grow only the Dank grade A+ bud to be able to sell your shit to the shops... so yes there is alot of dank weed and I can guarantee if you are paying 500 a zip from cali I would leaver every trichome in place since It is not even near that price out here rigth now... wholesale is 150 to 250 a zip.....

California has a HUGE reputation for being the leaders in mj in the U.S.A. and you can make an argument for them being in the top 3 leaders in the world.
However its just a reputation. Fantastic bud can be grown anywhere. Fantastic breeders can be from any state/region/country. It just so happens that california in particular has a lot of good rep for bud and strains.
Im not sold that california is the be all end all of marijuana. Ive gotten california bud before...dank and ditch weed. just like pretty much everywhere else.
i think the further we get into the future of the marijuana trade the more the playing field will be level in terms of who has the good quality etc.
So imo cali is one of the better places for marijuana smokers but not all its cracked up to be (ive never been to amsterdam but im sure its similar there...most is just hype but im sure they are pretty fantastic overall)
to an extent where you live does play a factor. some states mostly get imported mexican brick weed or schwag etc.

Its hyped up cause there is so much of it and allot of people grow it here so you always here about the good strains.I think since the 2000's Cali took the number 1 spot for dank.I've had friend that went to Amsterdam and wasn't satisfied with there weed.

If ya think about it everything is home grown.Lived in San Diego for years,been up and down the coast and Hawaii too.I grow better smoke right here in Texas.There has always been a large network of growers here,we just produce alot less and keep the best for the circle.They are mailing the shit out of that cali bud and by the time it gets here its dry as fuck.I guess its leftovers.Be alot better if someone would mail out edibles so we wouldnt have to use our bud to cook with.

um not so much id go about 350 for some dank homegrown. cuz there are few that live up to my standards anymore since everyone and their mom is growing now. but there are a few lifers that blow my mind with the stuff they grow. i will someday be a lifer myself. but until then who really cares where ur weed is from. unless its bricked up mexi. then i feel sorry for u.

um. id say its half and half. a lot of peeps are still trying to make a profit on it. but there are still those few that push it to the max with only 2 or 3 plants at a time. may end up with maybe 2 oz total but man it would be some fire that a fire extinguisher couldnt smother.
