11 Weeks Into Flower And Still No Brown Trichomes!

Hi All

I'm 11 weeks into flower and i still don't have any brown trichomes!!
What the hell is going on?
I vegged after 4 weeks and this is my first grow
My buds still seem really fluffy as opposed to nice dense flowers.

I dont have the 30x mag so all i can do is look at the colour of the buds.
I dont have a camera to post up pics but basically if you saw my plant you would probably it was in about week 7 of flower.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

Strain? Sounds like a sativa dominant. Without pictures for us or a loupe for you, there isn't much else we can help with.
What lighting type and schedule?
Whats your growing medium (soil, hydro)?
nutrients?

big bud in soil (bout 3 gallon pots)
600w HPS
been on 12/12 for 11 weeks
vitalink bloom
canna pk 13/14
bud buddy

That sound about right?

Depending on the size of the plant, could be slightly root bound slowing progress. Are you positive there are no light leaks?
Ah, big bud so indica/sativa. Maybe you got a more sativa Dom pheno. Man pics would help alot. Assuming watering schedule is on par and it's not over or under watered. What's the plants over all health? Do you know the ph of your water? Bad ph can cause nute lockout, which can slow progress, but usually will show by plant having deficient issues.

It's all good lime. Just trying to help and contribute. No need for rep as I would want the same help if needed. Although it is cool to see the green bar get bigger.

has your grow room temperatures dropped with winter coming in ? low temps can slow down the flowering process, also when u switch to 12/12 the plants take a while to adjust and you shouldn't count it from the day you switch the lights. there are other factors that may of stunted your grow but thats a good place to start

could be late to start blooming if it was from seed 4 weeks, also if it is a bit Sativa as Grumpy stated then it could take longer to finish...What is the average flowering time for Big Bud? does it still have white hairs growing from the buds? What light are you using, how many watts? how far is your light from top of plants? so many questions without a pic...lol
i use a scope to check trichomes with...takes the guessing out.
