I ordered some seeds from www.marijuana-seeds.nl (Mazar/PPP) and the seeds are Tiger striped & fairly small. Has anyone noticed that plants with good genetics seem to have a smaller seed than regular bag-seed?

Yep U bet, that's pretty common. Hard to tell them apart also.....
as long as they are dark and striped they are fine, but you really dont know till the end.

Small seeds can be very good......My fav Thai strains seeds are very small and greyish...lucky strain...but had these huge egg like seeds in Australia once,one of the finest,fattest on your ass indica ive seen,n smoked!
So i agree but thats another plus for growers,,for me growing a new strain out here is one of my most enjoyed things now,a small seed or big.......if its got perfect soft breast,and curved thighs and ass,then even better..............B.

Im agreeing,in general,sure weve all had all seeds but a lot of sativa seeds are smaller...with smaller breasts,smaller tighter thighs,very round and lush,small rounder beautifull asses too i find!...........B

BTW, every indica seed I have here from Sannie is small. And every sativa seed I have here from Peak is huge...both are growing well!

That said I have some huge Thai Lights seeds (it must be noted that I also got 2 seeds from Bubbleberry both buds coming from the same dispensary so in essence I could have Thai Berry or a 3rd male that's unknown, which I quit going to because I got 15seeds in Thai Light and 2 in Bubbleberry, but they will be germinated so I'm not complaining).

seems like your question was answered but I figured I'd throw my 2 cents in as well.... ordered feminized white widow seeds from 'femaleseeds' and was def concerned when they arrived.... looked MUCH smaller than I had ever found in a bag.... let me tell you.... size don't matter....lol!!!! growing an amazing plant right now.... best of luck my friend~

I believe the conclusion to be ......well really its not a decisive factor at all what size the seeds is,there are some patterns in general,but there are anomolies in nature....as long as the breasts of the seed are great,the ass of the seed is an artform,and the seed gives you DRIVE then its a good seed,,,i reckon...........B,

Do the Mazars have really big breasts??? lol.
it is the way the seed companies grow their seeded plants, that makes their seeds come out so small.
i had a pack of snowryder seeds i grew for seed, and they were very tiny seeds in that pack. When i harvested the seeds off the plants i grew the seeds were all easily 3 times bigger than the ones i started with.

3 out of 3 small/ med striped seeds that I have germed, have been Indica dom. females.
