last night I drank about half a fifth of Micheal Collins (the single malt one) and I regret it deeply. I'm at work, and cannot go home... Puked three times so far this morning. Sucks.


Considering it's about to be new years, I figured I'd start a "omg worst hangover ever" thread... Share your stories!

LOL Oh my hell. I really do feel for you. There is nothing worse than nursing a hangover at work. I only did that once. It was tequila. Worst day of my life. What's even worse is when you get green-apple-quick-step from all that alcohol and have to use the company bathroom.

all of my hangover stories are pretty typical, just feeling like shit and having angry customers with big giant balls scream at me over the phone when they know damn well they would never pull that shit face to face. may i suggest some gatorade or another sports drink designed to replace electrolytes? even pedialyte will work but it tastes a lot more disgusting than one would think.

i just read a report yesterday from some newspaper's website (i forget which one) that basically claimed all hangover remedies were ineffective, but the article never explored the use of sports drinks, which i have known as fact to work on hangovers, either before bed or when you wake up.

Yeah, I usually roll with water and sometimes I eat bread and drink milk but I always hear about using gatorade I just never have any on hand.

At least the Blazers won last night, 3-0.

I dunno if anyone here saw my flaming butthole buffalo wings thread, but that experience was worse than any thing, mainly because it included a hang over. Bhut jolokia sauce (homemade that we bring to the bar for our wings) and a hangover equals the worst day EVAR! Expelling via both ends, I was like a double sided fire breathing dragon. And also at work, they guys were all laughing at me...I didn't laugh until the NEXT day as it was an all day event.

With good booze yeah. With cheap booze it's also the booze that contributes to hangover aspects like headaches instead of just being thirsty.

Here's a way to tell how 'clean' your vodka is. The cleaner it is, the less of a hangover you get from it. Put a drop in your hands and rub them together. Smell your hands. The more alcohol you smell the less it's been filtered and the worse it will be for you.

Darker alcohol has more toxins. And the sugar in sugary drink will cause a secondary fermentation in your gut making the alcohol stronger.
