There is no way to get through to you, there are many many families that can't go back. I hear about it all the time, dude you really have no fucking clue. There are mass graves with tens of thousands of dead bodies, and you think people aren't getting affected? Over 30,000 people have been killed because of this shit, and he thinks it's only a few families that have been ruined. What a load....
When you say "one cartel" you clearly don't know shit, the zetas are a paramilitary group that was a section of the cartel that broke off. There is THE cartel, and LOS Zetas, there aren't multiple cartels....... I could sit here and tell about DOZENS of families, and those families could tell you about dozens of other families that have gotten destroyed.
And it's a straight-up lie when you say people can't go back, the zetas have taken over cities and entire states and tell people to leave, and if they come back or refuse they get killed. WHOLE cities are deserted now besides the people that work for the Z. Seriously man, get a clue. Like I said, my family that own THOUSANDS of acres of sorghum fields, they can't go back, every other rancher in that state can't go back. My family also owns a business that would export things from the USA to sell in Mexico, and I'm not even going to mention what happened to end that business as it sicken me.
As a MEXICAN, it's incredibly offensive that you are taking such a blasé approach. Nothing that I have said is exaggerated at all, btw.
If you're smart, you have a better chance of enjoying yourself and not getting killed, but you have to open your fucking eyes to what the people who have experenced this shit are telling you.
