Aqua Canna Nutrients

Hey guys,

I'm new here. I want to use Canna's Aqua nutrient line in a DWC Bubbler setup. I understand that on Canna's website it says you can use their Aqua Vega and Aqua Flores in a DWC Bubbler Setup. However, I have found that running a Bubbler on a 24/7 cycle breaks up the PH buffers in Aqua's Vega & Flores and causes the ph to fly all over from 3.5 to 7.3. I have also tried running the air pump for only 15 minutes per hour and the PH seems to stay stable but now I'm concerned about the amount of Dissolved Oxygen in the water. Has anyone had any experience with this issue?


The test container:

5 Gallon
4 sprayers
40 ml each of Aqua Canna Vega Part A+B
RO water PPM = 20

what ppm/ e.c are you running. most nutes buffers dont work real well at low concentrations. other than that i dont know it was my understanding aqua was supposed to be good for DWC. never tried it though

I have herd to put a small pump re-circulating and splashing the nutes back in the reso works well for both aeration and nutes not being aloud to settle.

I have read on a canna info paper that if you have air stones running all the time it will make your ph go crazy, the recommend exactly what you did, 15 min every hour.

I am curious as to if that correction worked for you. I am to use their substra line, and was thinking about the air stones, seems like possibility for mis- fortune.
