And to answer the question of what to do if Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination... That's easy. Support Ron Paul as a third party candidate!

Yeps .. it's always the best thing to do, to vote for the very best candidate in a situation like this, even doing so will hand the win on a silver platter to the very worst candidate.
The day that Ron Paul announces he will run as an Independent is the day Michelle Obama can start booking the entertainment and making out the menu and guest list for the presidential celebration victory party for Barry.
Sure, but you aren't representing what Dr Paul wants at all. No where does Ron Paul say he wants to deregulate everything, NO WHERE!! So either you are lying about it, or you actually have no clue what his positions are and get your arguments either from the MSM or you just make them up on the spot and hope no one calls you on it.

On average I agree with Ron Paul about 50% of the time. He doe get a little too far out on some issues.

So you and Paul advocate 50 different sets of regulations on say, an auto manufacturer - or more if you want county regs as well? And you folks believe regulation stifles business. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense

I am perpetually amused when people stand, healthy, relatively free, well educated, capable of traveling safely, confidently drinking water, taking pills, eating food holding perpetualy that their government doesn't "work" as though all those assurances that they are in a stable, orderly and safe society just happened.

I would like to think that electing Ron Paul would begin a series of events that the Corporate/Banking/Military Industrial Elite do not want. Ron Paul will attempt to end wars and decrease military exports. He will attempt to expand trade with nations that we currently sanction. He will begin ceding federal power back to states. He would likely limit the influence of Big Pharma and insurance companies in the medical field. But none of this really matters since he is not yet elected and probably will not be since the Corporate Elitists tend to get what they want and Ron Paul is certainly not what they want. I hope we can elect a truthful, moral, Constitutionally sound president but my guess is that it will not be happen or more likely will not be allowed.
Well in that case i would also start ASSUMING that Russia will turn all of its warheads upon us in the next 5 minutes and that lightning will strike and kill you the minute you walk out your front door. I would never go outside again canndo, after all it is a possibility and you certainly don't want to risk being a crispy critter, right?
So, using your logic we can conclude that you will never go outside again, well at least for the next 5 minutes, after that those nukes will be here.
Why not just assume that all the states will just have 1 regulation they share between them? Not every glass is half empty, some of them are half full.
The Federal Government did not create any of those things you listed. Not a damned one. People with ideas created those things and the heavy hand of government took them over.
You seem to conclude that all travel would be dangerous without a Government regulation, that all pills would be made of poison, all drinking water would be filth and that all food would contain salmonella. I can tell you with 100% certainty that all of those things exist in one form or another right now this very minute even though it is under the ever watchful eye of a bureaucrat somewhere in a office. Spinach that kills? totally possible under government control and regulation, don't believe me? read the news much?

goood post, its for this reason alone that the people should all be behind Ron Paul, quite simply because the elitist blood sucking vampires don't want him elected, this is obvious, so we have to stand togather against these demons.
I wish people would understand, we are not in their club...voting for the other guys doesn't make you cool and a part of the establishment team..they will have NO MERCY on any of us...bow down or not...

Hell ya, GO RON PAUL. If he is not nominated I will right him on that freakin ballot. I made a huge mistake voting for obama last time. I thought he would maybe make a difference but he has made it much worse. I refuse to ever vote for a republican or a democrat ever again. I am now 100% LIBERTARIAN!

Your example leaves much to be desired. You state that local regulations are most often better than federal ones. Your presumption that MAYBE all states will share the same retulation does not stand up to current situations, look at med marijuana as an example, there is no federal model for such regs and so each has it's own way of doing things, and yet you believe that in some mythical world each state will get together and regulate say, the auto industry in exactly the same way. What you advoacte is indeed more regulation and not less.
The glass is half full if you are pouring, half empty if you are drinking.
