Thanks to this thread I'm going to be attempting to save my Jedi Kush & Tahoe OG . Both were grown from seed. Cali Connection. These are the last two i had left out of the batch. I didnt have anywhere to veg @ the time, so i couldn't keep the clones i cut. They went to a local dispensary.:( I'll post pics in a few.

I will attempt revegging a super lemon haze, it's in the dark right now, I cut too much out of it but I will try anyway. I left one small popcorn bud on it and 2 tiny sets of leaves right at the base.I will leave it to rest for 48 hours. I will post pics if I am successful at it.

I wanna mention that I had some pretty good success with this. I chopped down my iced grapefruit girl and left literally one tiny 4 inch branch that got stunted during growth. I cut her down to the last node - no joke.

After about 2 weeks she was putting out new growth. It was taking up too much room so I decided to take the chance and clone it. I cloned it directly to soil...I've never had much luck with cloning and she got pretty significantly burned.

So another 2 weeks in or so, I thought I saw some new growth but I wasn't sure. I did this mostly as an experiment to see if it would work in emergencies anyway. I flipped the cup over into my hand and she did indeed have roots.

Its not really putting out much growth, but I haven't been paying her much attention. Shes in FF Ocean Forest right now and I checked those roots a few days ago. I'm thinking she'll make a full recovery eventually.

Its definitely not the best option, but if you have an epic plant that purples pretty extremely well, or just has awesome flavor/structure, etc...its certainly a viable method to save the genes.

The plants everyone is revegging, did you guys flush them at the end of harvest and let them sit in darkness for 2 days also with no water?

I did. but I didnt repot. I am just trying it out for fun, just so I have experience doing it when it really matters to save the genetic

I harvest that plant in the dark with my green light. After I harvest the buds , I took it out of the original pot and cut about 1/3 of the rootball and repotted in fresh soil. Then put it under some cfls 92w. 24/0 for now tomorrow they'll go to 18/6 under the t5's . Prior to harvest the plant was in dar for over 2 days and it was thoroughly flushed. Hope that answerd any?s.

I've hear re-vegged plants will not yield as much, or be as potent as it originally was. Is this true? and if it is, Can you take clones from a re-vegged plant that will be just as good as it originally was?

I'm glad to see threads like this one.. as apposed to the same tired "conventional wisdom" that has been blindly regurgitated (and asserted as fact, likely by people that have never challenged it themselves) so many times that barely deserves mentioning anyway.

As a general rule whenever I start a new strain from seed I try to hatch out as many seeds as possible then label each plant sprung from them.
I generally begin flowering out cuttings from each as soon as possible. I weed out the males first (because I don't currently run a breeding program) and if space becomes an issue I start weeding out biased on growth characteristics.
Every once in a while a batch of clones will be harvested and the "mother" of a particularly promising plant (maybe it put on all its weight late in flowering) had already been culled. In these situations I often remove all but the lower 2-4 branches (during harvest) as well as the top bud from these branches before moving them from my hydro setup into soil and place under 24/0 light.. This technique has preserved some really great genetics for my collection that would have otherwise been lost.. I have never experienced any drawback from this practice (no hermies/reduced yields).

Its pretty surprising how much bad info there is out there (and how blindly so many people accept it as fact/propagate it as such).

I believe my plant was really good genetic but I fucked up early in the grow when I transplanted from 3gallons into 2 gallons container so that the plant would fit my experimental LED dresser... anyway the plant was shocked really bad but still produced really good quality meds , just not much of it, I decided to reveg it just so that I know how when it's really needed. here is my question::

would this reveg plant grow the same way it did before I shocked it in it's previous life or the plant is never going to amount to much?

sorry it's not very clear

There was no genetic damage.. That's just silly.
Reveg it good and strong, take a clone, re-flower the mother, and keep that cloneas a bonsai mum.

I beat the shit out of my last LS clone, and it cameback just as strong as ever.
I thoughtfor sure all of it's clones would be shitty, but they remind me of the original mother.

ok thx, I barely have time for another crop so I can't take clone and do all that...( I was only planning on revegging it 10 more days then put it into the flower room after I harvest around the 15th. we'll see what happens with it!

I would veg it until you have a decent amount of new growth (at-least a couple-few weeks, I usually give mine closer to a month or more before I do anything with them but I am also after clones not re-flowering) I would also treat it like you are concerned about its root health for a little while too (that plant is going through alot of changes in a relatively short time, the changes under the soil can be hard to see right off).

ok thanks Guile, I will give it 15 more days from now or wait until I see at least one nice set of leaves, I guess it can go in the flower room a little later since it should be ready to harvest a little sooner the second time around

You gotta veg it like any regular plant you're vegging. It won't produce shit if it only has 2 wimpy leaves, just throw it out if that's your plan.
It won't be "ready to harvest sooner the 2nd time around" what the hell makes you assume that.
