Oh, and when do you think I could do my first top to the smaller plant?
once you have a third set of branches coming off the main stem, that is when you should top at the earliest, its what I did and know those two tops are over 2 feet tall and even grew a little taller last night. I hope they slow down before they hit the light and get bleached out but even if they get bleached by the light the buds will still be good just lighter than the lower buds.

you never use ph up or ph down? it is a huge time saver having a ph meter, i love mine.

Nice shit^. Here are some pics I just took. The bigger one I had to use a trellis I think it is called, I had to pull the plant to the left side of the grow box because this bitch is getting really bushy and big and covering up the other plant It is bent over a bit, but that is alright. I guess this can just be this one time I LST. You can also see the new growth where I topped it a few days ago. Anyway, here they are. :D day 20 of third plant taken at 210 am january 6th 2012 3.JPGday 20 of third plant taken at 210 am january 6th 2012 2.JPGday 20 of third plant taken at 210 am january 6th 2012 4.JPGday 20 of third plant taken at 210 am january 6th 2012.JPGday 30 of second plant taken at 210 am january 6th 2012 3.JPGday 30 of second plant taken at 210 am january 6th 2012 2.JPGday 30 of second plant taken at 210 am january 6th 2012.JPG

How long is it safe to do LST for? I was thinking until my other plant is about 3/4 of the size of my bigger one, but that could take a week.

nice job buddy, keep up the good work. I know how it is to have one plant explode and cover the others. u just have to trim her up at some point. but dont trim while it is flowering. here are some updated pics of my two ladies with some close ups.

Ahhh and here are the new photos. Freshly taken. I like what I see at the top of the bigger plant. There is a lot of healthy growth coming out of where I topped it. day 22 of third plant taken at 1240 am january 9th 4.JPGday 22 of third plant taken at 1240 am january 9th 2012 2.JPGday 22 of third plant taken at 1240 am january 9th 2012 3.JPGday 22 of third plant taken at 1240 am january 9th 2012.JPGday 32 of second plant taken at 1240 am january 9th 2012 2.JPGday 32 of second plant taken at 1240 am january 9th 2012 3.JPGday 32 of second plant taken at 1240 am january 9th 2012 4.JPGday 32 of second plant taken at 1240 am january 9th 2012.JPG

Nice pics man, them buds are going to look great in a week or so. I just had to tie my bigger plant down again. This time it is bent way over towards the floor. The proper LST. Also, when I topped I must have accidentally trimmed a set of tiny leaves on the stem because the new growth at the top has two sets of leaves that are missing tips, that I didn't intentionally trim. I don't think it's a big deal, but I should probably be more careful not to do it again.
