im happy and upset at the same time. I feel like they were trying to do me dirty how could a DA see a strike thats not there?

it was the difference between 85% and never eligable for probation to 50% time and eliable to do county time. but now the question is how much time are they going to offer. the max is 4 years wich i will do half and the DA wants me to do more than a year cause he shot the year offer down so now i just need to figure out if i should go to trial. I know i will lose but the judge probably wont give me the max.

Congratulations...you didn't beat it but 1/2 time and county with no strike really ain't that bad. I think that your fucking prick DA was trying to do you dirty. Now I think that he's a bit screwed since he was really counting on that strike to max you out. Maybe now he'll take you up on the 1yr plea since he knows that even if it goes to trial there is very little chance (unless the judge is a Mormon) that you will be down for longer than that.

yeah but a year in county sucks its really 8 months 20 days. but if i get 16 months with half at least im not stuck in one spot for to long and will do about the same. would go from county to tracy and if Im not stuck in tracy to long i will go to a yard then get out. as opposed to being stuck in county in the same spot for 8months 20 days str8. plue parole is a cake walk You get off in a year if your good and probation is 3 years
