Needing a little help, transplanting and soil.

Okay after germinating via wet paper towl, i move the sprouts to Burpee Organic seed starter mix inregular sized red plastic cups with holes in the bottom. How long should I wait to move them to the next pot size and fox farm oceam forest soil, Im reading that ffof may be a little hot for some plants. What are some ideas

FF ocean forest is great for growing herb so no worries, lots of people use it. As far as how long to wait, id say about 2-3 weeks, basically once they have 4-5 sets of leaves or nodes if you will. At that point they will no longer be seedlings and will be in a veg state. Move them to the pots you want to flower them in then.

C I disagree I start my seeds in paper towel then to straight fox farm ocean Forrest with little perlite and works great for me no burn nothing

i go red cup (16 oz.), 1 gal. for veg, 2.7 gal. flower...find what works for you. transplant a week before flower so dont get bad root bound, will stunt yield...peace

I would go square pots around / 16 oz cup I get a better root growth than the cups and they don't fall over that easy u can fit 20 something in one tray

i know this is kinda off subject but whats a goot estimated time from when put in soil to the time i would need to cut down for harvest. How long will that take. I know i have to wait till it grows buds and then they have to mature. but how long should the whole thing take, or how long do most cannabis plants take.

Im growing fem. nirvan short rider its autoflowering and im also growing fem. bomb seeds big bomb photoperiod.

Depends on strain I would say at least 12 weeks 3 or 4 weeks vedge give or take some and at least 8weeks or more maybe little less u got to let the plant tell u when she is ready

Alright Method, thanks alot for your help. Thats about what i thought. and yeah not alot of people mess with autoflowering because they dont yeild as much and usually have slightly lower THC levels, atleast thats what i have read on other forums.

id grow in coco if not that get some potting soil perlite and some other soil ads and make your own mix to where you know it wont be that strong in ferts thats what idid and its my 1st grow

even with autos, your looking at at least a 4-6 veg period and a 8-12 week flower period. Considering the time from seed, id say 14-18 weeks is a reasonable estimate from seed to harvest, but then its at least another 2 weeks to dry and cure too before you smoke it.

I wouldn't recommend coco to a new grower straight coco anyway just my op get a good soil add some perlite and don't over feed
