I feed mine feed,flush,feed,flush... i have to try that..
I like the feed feed flush feed feed feed flush feed feed flush.... I don't think its too shocking to the plants, and the one shorter feed gives a bit extra flush. It is however my first grow, so we'll see how the plan works. I'll be getting a journal w/ pics up in the next week. This journal is one of the best there is. I'm immersed in it. How do we get shipped some NP seeds?

thanks mr. marge for stopping by and welcome to RIU.:joint: im glad you enjoy the grow and far from the best, but thank you!!! you will see the NP is now crossed with the job site queen and those are the new seeds you see. the site does not allow any funny seed business so i will keep it that way...sorry. maybe one day you will see one of the crosses at a seed bank..just waiting for that someone to contact me..

thank you again for the kind words and look forward to your journal..:peace:

thanks and welcome to RIU..:joint:

just covered the top while i dusted the female two times in a week. i did this on the first cross. now i just like to let the two have thier own room and cover the whole plant in pollen during the 3-4th week of flowering..... my papaya that i kept as a mom flowers for 50-60 days, very fast maturing plant.

Big Mike, I’m really enjoying your grow. I’m interested to know more about that clone that you flowered at 8” back on post #60. I’m wanting to do a SOG when I get the chance to start growing and after I get my first grow out of the way.

If that’s all you flowered in your 16 sq. ft. area, how many do you think you could fit? I’ve read where the suggested flowering space for a SOG is 1 plant per 1 sq. ft., but do you think you could fit more than 16 in there?

I’m planning on having an 8 sq. ft. flowering area and was wondering if I could fit about 12 flowering clones in there, that were all flowered at 8”. I could get a process going where I’m harvesting 6 plants every month.

What I would be growing would probably be similar, something mostly indica. It would be indoors, in soil, with a 400 watt HPS.

Here’s a few sketches of my future grow room in my walk-in closet, and what both areas will look like. It’d be great if you could check them out and tell me what you think. It will be on wheels so I can easily move it. The flower room pic should give you a better idea of what I’m trying to ask.

what it will normally look like in my closet and when i'm using the veg room

what it will look like in my closet when i'm using the flower room

inside of veg room
after a month of rooting and growing in here i would only flower 6 of the 8. m1 and m2 stands for mother1 and mother2

inside of flower room
obviously the HID lights in each side will be able to raise and lower, i just drew them on the ceiling

another overhead shot showing lights and ventilation

Thanks for any input you can give.

welcome to RIU and thanks for sharing your great design and first post on my journal. with this kind of interest you will be here for a while. lots of good help though out the site...o.k., on with the SOG. with a 1gal pot you will have a 8" foot print per plant. so i would say you will be fine with 12 plants. let me know or start a thread about what strains you would like to try and what maybe the best for SOG. i myself am still looking for the best yielder.

again, thanks for stopping by and get that first grow going..:joint::peace:

Thanks for the reply. I wish I could start today. I'm transferring schools soon and moving. Then I'll have my own one bedroom place, the one with the closet in the pics. This might not happen until the end of the year though. I'll certainly let you know if your still around.

I'm not taking classes this summer though, so I'll just be working a lot, saving up money. I've got a long list of pretty much everything I need, about a $900 list. When I finally do it, it'll be the right way.

I was wanting to do 2 strains at a time. One I want to do is PPP. I've read it's very high yielding. I guess I'll find out how it does in a SOG. The other one I'm thinking is Blueberry. I think it would do well in a SOG. I could breed the two and breed the babies. I'd breed for the taste, smell, and height of a Blueberry plant, but the yield and higher sativa% of PPP.

This is the greatest site ever by the way.

edit: I see someone has already tried PPP and Blueberry.
