It's not really THAT great, but I'm pretty happy with it. It's right at a gram per watt. I believe it's the organics, the Lights and the lolli-popping. I have tried almost every technique I could find to break the yield barrier I had hit, and lollipopping was the key for me. It has its inherent risks and drawbacks, I have to have 72 in flower, 72 in veg, and 72 rooting at any given time. That makes it kinda hard to be in compliance in any legal state, so for caregivers, it really isn't an option. I maximize yield per sq/ft, they need to maximize yield per plant.

I would like to check out the lollipopping too. One thing I am very very impressed with is a book I just read. Secrets of the West Coast Masters doing scrogs. Holy Fuck dude. I built the training rail and the equipment and shit. Pretty good techniques I think. The book is like 30/40 bucks so many won't buy it, fucking worth $100 if you ask me. No, I didn't write it or know the dude or any of that shit either. lol

It's the same principle. Growing to maximize the per square foot yield, not the per plant yield. Basically, while they veg, I take off all the side growth (Branches, not fans), leaving only the main when they go into flower. I have them in 2 gal grow bags (8" dia) and cram 72 of them on a 4x8 flood tray/table with 3 1K lights over them. There is no side growth to worry about, so I get absolutely MASSIVE mains, as the plant is no longer splitting it's resources in developing any secondary mains or buds. Any one who has SOG or SCROG down can get the same results I get. I just find this easier and less trouble. (and I'm all about easier!!!) I actually plan to add another table when I get my grow back on. Then I'll be spending a full 8 or more hours in there. It's become my full time job now.

Rough guess of around $50-100/ounce depending on the season (A/C is expensive). This includes electric, nutes, bulbs, and money for the occasional equipment failure. Factor in having to move into a bigger apartment to do this and it's more like $100-150/ounce. Gotta factor in labor (time that could be spent working a paying job!) and fixed equipment costs (which becomes a smaller factor as more is grown). Including the cost of equipment my bud has cost me $250-300/oz to produce. That will go down a lot with future crops though.

Bulbs, Soil, Super soil, CO2, Water, Nutes, Pest control, and treats for my babys + amortizing equipment over 2 years most of which will last longer. If I put it all together gets me to about 80 bucks a zip. If I add labor into it also (my time is free) what is ones time worth? Well after a little research a skilled gardener for a hydroponic green house earns 12-16 dollars per hour in MI so that would take my cost up if there was an out of pocket cost for my own time. If there was a labor cost I would be up around 110-120.

I wouldn't read a High Times if you asked me to. Never have, never will. The name alone tells you it's a joke.

Someone I know is a High Time reader and setting up their first grow. They think they are going to do a 12 plant SCROG/ ("biggest plants I can") in a 15x15 space with 1K. Their veg is like 10x8, LOL. I tried explaining they needed about about a 1/3 of that size for veg and as much as he can sacrifice for flower if he really wants to scrog 12 plants and big as they can go. And that he needs a lot more than a thousand watts for that regardless of what hood, bulb, etc he gets. Oh and that to penetrate 10x8 of veg area is hard as hell with T5's unless you want like 6 of them.

He doesn't need my advice though... he saw it all in High Times.

Secrets of the West Coast Masters for SCROG! If anyone knows of a better book, please let me know. Over one ounce per plant, per light. Actually a book that shows you how to keep your plants count down!! All the books from Amsterdam and Canada say grow 200 plants lol.

Gladstone, I just have to read that. I have to admit that I fell into lolipopping, and haven't done a whole lot of SOG and have never done a SCROG. My original intent was to run a SOG, but one time I had some plants vegging and a full flower room. I had to make an emergency trip south, and told the wife to put the vegging girls in the flowering room when she and my brother in law harvested. That didn't happen, so when I got back, I took a shitload of clones (Really got overzealous) and put the veg girls in flower. Well, about half of them had NO sidegrowth because I inadvertently took it all for clones, and the fucking Colas they produced were friggin' MASSIVE. I was absolutely FLOORED at the sight of them!! So I figured out the sq/ft yield of SOG and figured the sq/ft yield of lolipop, and once I got over my plant count fear, I never looked back. Somehow in my mind I figured that if I had under 20 plants, it would go better if I ever did get caught. Come to find out, 20 is the same as 99 here. That's how I got into the whole thing. However, I am ALWAYS looking to improve!!

There is a difference between 20 and 99 Jack. It's called a jury. And all you need is one me on your jury brother. I got the info on the book out of treating yourself amgazine, but they do have a website and I am pretty sure the book will change your grow for the better. I don't know shit and I understood everything, well most of it. You sound like me, you want to be better. I must have a dozen grow books. I buy books, magazines, everything. I am on here. I eat, sleep and drink this shit. My girlfriend is literally dying from crohn's disease. My father is fucked up in a wheelchair and has PTSD like crazy. My back is toasted from twenty years of construction. My life depends on this. Fuckers ain't operating on me every few years and pumping me full of their shit. I don't trust one of them fuckers. I would rather take advice from weed smoking strangers on the internet! roflmao!

In my case it will never get to trial. They had me dead to rights. I do have them on a constitutional issue tho, they violated my speedy trial rights, and my right to final disposition under the Interstate Agreement on Detainers.
Court cases almost NEVER go to trial. The evry thought of going to trial turns most folks bowels to water! Especially when the state gets done explaining how much time you'll get WHEN they convict you at trial. Thats when the plea deal looks pretty damn good to most. If I had a remote shot of beating it, I'd take 'em to trial, but they walked in (valid investigation of a burglary at my shop) and found everything.
It's what they CHARGE you with that determines the sentence. In this case, 1-99 is a class C felony, whereas over 99 becomes a class B felony. It's the punishment that is meted out according to the severity of the charge.
Now if jury nullification were to be a factor, then I'd go to trial in a heartbeat!!! But the supreme court has ruled that there is no constitutional right to have the jury instructed in their right to Nullification. How fucked up is THAT?

The judge will sentence you differently with 20 plants vs 99... it's all up to their discretion. They have no accountability...

My hearing is on the 30th and hopefully, it will all be over then. I'll have to go get some property and put a house on it, and do it quietly and in a way that cannot be traced back to me. I'm getting divorced as soon as this is over, I cant do that until it is because if I have to go to trial, she can't testify against me as long as we are still married.
HOPEFULLY, by July or Aug I'll have everything in place, 'cuz I'm jonesing to get back at it! Certainly by years end if I'm still in the free world.

lights, nutes, power, soil, grow bags, water and anyhting else i can deduct form my taxes, and ounce comes to $95 last time i sat down and figured it out...that also includes my time.
