Flowering time in Victoria, Australia.

Hi,

I'm from Australia and Im doing my 2nd grow. This time outside. Ive got 4 beautiful females (purple maroc, matanuska tundra and 2x blue kush), out of 11 plants that i started - unfortunately had 7 males which ive identified when they started showing some pre-flowers about 2 months ago.

Purple maroc is already flowering for about a month (this strain is supposed to be semi-auto flower or something like that)

The tundra is showing 2 pistils everywhere and the blue kush has got mostly still unopened female preflowers/calyxes.

Now the question is, when does real flowering start in Victoria? Is anyone from around here who can answer this?

If I look up sunrise and sunset times then < 12 hour days begin around 20th of March, but this feels really late since I heard other people say that by March/April, their plants are already finished!

hey mate im from victoria too , unsure really as im new aswell but i here they can start flowering from now and most people i speak to pull around easter time..

They start now,stretch for a couple weeks as they are flowering and ready about late march.

check my outdoory link in my signature........ my outdoory in s.a been flowering for 8 weeks

i also put 2 more out 1 month ago, and yes indeed they are flowering, both looking a little sad due to pot being on the ground, and a chicken has been shitting constantly in there and digging at the soil, so now i got them on a crate, and they are repairing, chicken also ate some leaves damn it, but luckily my big outdoory is krankin bigtime and the chicken only ate a few bottom leaves.
the two young ones are beginning their first stretch, and showing plenty of white hairs, yeah they look bit crap now, but they will repair, just a bit burnt leaves from potent chicken shit......not my doing!

oh all these are the same strain i grew in my indoor link (i cloned them in rockwool)

Yeah I read it. Very impressive. When I have all of them in flower I'll take some pics and post it here!

Think your's is somewhat confused from being cloned and outside. It shouldn't be in full flower yet.

What I find interesting is people say MJ flowers when it has 12 hour nights, but if it applied to outdoor we'd be waiting till 23 of March!

id say shes less than 3 weeks from what people are tellin me, but maybe less, shes producing crazy amounts of resin, i dont even touch her cause she leaves all wet stickiness on my fingers! and my other 2 clones, are most definitely flowering, gonna tie them down tomorrow, just wanted her to repair a bit, thanx DR. Repair CYCO!!! i bring my big girl inside every night, cause she stinks out the neighborhood i put her in the shed for a night, but that was a dumb idea, it got warm over night, and i could smell wofts of it coming inside when i went to the loo. i aint gettin this girl pinched !! i'm possitive the neighbours can smell them, the big girl reaks standing 3 meters away, id say after more than 2 months flowering time, she's going to be potent as chronic smoke!! hurry up and finish! getting too heavy to lift every morning and night! and she drinks a whole pot full every day!

Id leave it out bro ,dont cut off its fresh co2 supply by relocating inside every night also you might damage the buds moving it around. Days are short enough now and it will continue flowering.

she still gets fresh air inside ;) don't worry, there is always a window open, and i bring her inside cause she stinks too much, and i just know she'll be pinched if i leave her out, and no way will the buds get damgaged i'm too careful, nothinga gonna break, the branches are amazingly strong, and nothing touches the doorways or anything like that. can't risk this baby, i want to know my end product!! i love my outdoory, i gave her a small taste of cyco swell, just 1ml to 2 litres, to see if she'd react, dont want to give her food if she doesnt need it, but the leaves have perked up since, and it maybe just me, but crystals are glistening this morning, the whole heads shine in the sun,.... yum
