I should have been watching closer, but they were advertized 99% Females, so I didn't think about it.

I have now recovered, but I lost more than 2 months of growing time. :weed:

I had 4 femmed freebie beans from Nirvana they sent along with an Order , sad sativa beansprouts grew,
and Also 5x femmed Nirvana blue Mystics that was a lovely toke , but the most pathetic 1200w yield i ever saw:)

They were feminized, im not really a fan of feminized seeds but the Cali Connection non fem Bubba's are never in stock anywhere (at least i never see em) so when attitude was having the free mixed pack promo i went ahead and picked em up.

Great topic for a thread.

the waste of time for me was growing with a friend who didnt know how to grow and did everything cheap.
and had many bad growing habits...

another was buying clones from this one dispensary,all 4 came out bad,(chocolope x2,cheesus x2,diff phenos) low yielding,airy,low THC production,they do have some nice fruity smell but thats about it..

they sit next to some Jamaican OG's and those are looking really dank..no hermies as everyone says about CaliConnect.

My worst EVER strain was without a doubt RaspberryCough from Sativa Seedbank...practically no buds, absoloutely no trichomes, smelled like ass and didn't do shit when smoked. Thats three plants, not just one...and the Blackberry I had from them did almost as badly...it DID produce a couple of normal sized buds, but they were still unsmokable...never again...

My worst is definitely Sensi Seeds Northern Lights #1. I say "is" because it is still ongoing as I type this. Started out with ten seeds - all tiny and white, which was definitely not a good sign. Low and behold five failed to germ right out of the gate. Of the remaining five, only two were female. One ended up stretching a good 7-8'' with no end to it in sight when I switched over to 12/12, so I ditched it because I am growing in a cab after all. So now there's one remaining and sure enough it's tall and is obviously going to be a low yielder in the end. Also, one male bean showed up on this bitch a few days ago which I did pick off. It was my first time buying seeds so like a noob I thought "hey I'll go with the best because of the storied name" and thought more money somehow equates to better. A costly mistake($200 for one pack) but one that taught me a lot about the seed biz nonetheless.

I killed these a few weeks into flower by using a sprayer that had algae in it.......

I then killed these using the same technique...........headband sourd.jpg
What a fucking moron eh?? I did finally figure out wtf was up though!
So from now on I sterilize my sprayers and every-fucking-thing.

wow im really suprised by some of these flops several are on my try list mainly darkstar and warlock also some cc strains but something is amiss with the breeding over at cc think ill wait awail for them to pull it together

did not know that algae can kill plants from a sprayer...i have seen algae at teh bottom of my sprayer..never had any issues

post what you may db a flops a flop whether a strain or grow error makes no difference just a chance to air out the bad juju of 11

Where to start. Seedsman Narkush sucks, dont grow like a kush and very low THC and hermied. Pyramid Seeds Anestesia didnt germinate and they wont replace, several free big buds, only one good one, all the others were airy and hermied or didnt germ. Malberrys Peshewar Afghan is airy and takes forever to flower. HGS Herijuana blows also. Very pretty plant but very leafy, airy buds and not as strong as advertised and likes to hermie. Its not Sannies HJ!

My good strains were HGS WW, TH Seeds Burmese Kush and Paradise Seeds Vertigo. Loved these!!!!!!!!

Blackberry Kush ( from clones ) was my biggest flop last year. Planted outdoors, in a very good spot. The branches where so flimsy that just brushing up against them would break them. I spent so much time splinting broken limbs and staking and tying, just to have them pumelled by the weather. I harvested only half of what I should have due to this issue. May be good for indoors or greenhouses, not for outdoor growing.

Indoor flop was THC Bomb ( attitude seeds). Had a very bad mold problem that decimated my grow. Probebly my fault as I should have treated them with a good copper based fungacide instead of trying to control it with neem oil. I have a sulfer burner now and I don't see this as an issue anymore. I have 5 clones I saved and will try running them again.

@ dbkick...too bad because your plants look great and real healthy...maybe some chemical left over in the sprayer? bleach?...i always thought algae would not be able to grow in a dry sunny enviroment.
