How much yield from a 4' plant in a 4'x2' growing space?

4' before flowering or after? I assume u mean after considering plants double in size during flower. The yield depends on a lot fo factors so its tough to say, what is the strain? did you lst? top? scrog? What kind of lighting? etc? If you not sure which method your using there is a bunch of info around this site so read up and figure out what is best for your space. Rough guess a 4' plant could give you between 1.5-3oz maybe.

ok thats fair lets see im going to maintain it in soil with a 1500 lumings cfl make sure to keep the PH between 5.8-7 and feed the plant NPK and give it lots O <3 make sure the humidity isn't high which it won't because ill be indoors and the temp won't past 75F-85F kept well ventilated with 2 4" fans and thats bout it hope i can get a good yield *crosses fingers*10 pounds.
No but really it's too hard to give a definite answer, you might suck or be really good at growing. Too hard to tell with what you've given us to work with.

if you want to grow 4ft. plants then you might want to consider using 3 gallon pots. i have 6 Blue Dream in 3 gallon pots and they are at least 4 ft. 3 weeks into flower. with that being said. if you are a decent grower you will see 3-4oz/plant.

i highly advocate not using CFLs. If you cannot use HIDs then get T5s, they are cool, have better light spectrums available, and have a higher lumens/watt ratio.

your going to want about 10x the lumens if you want to have a successful 4ft plant.

check your local hydro store. again, go with a HPS setup if you can.

kinda strapped for cash at that point because im just in it for the adventure and luxury of growing my own potent baby im no seller of any kinda atleast i hope not 2 be ;P

if your strapped then CFLs are definitely they way to go. but if you are serious about it you might want to consider HIDs specifically HPS bulbs because they have the highest lumen per watt ratio of any bulb plus they have a greater light spectrum for flowering plants.

if your strapped for cash you can get fluoros at Home Depot for cheap and use them, they are decent, but if u want a good yield u need an HPS, I got a blue dream 3 weeks into flower right now and its pretty bushy, so it seems thats a decent strain for height restrictions and LST grow.

dude im useing a 400 watt hps and 400 watts of cfl 78,000 lumen in a 4 by 2 and a half area i have 7 plants that are rangein from 2.5 feet tall to almost 4 ,yr going to need some light man, and for flowerin 6.5 ph is good for yr feeding ,soil can range from 6.5 to 7 and they will b happy,for veg u can keep yr ph between 6.5 to 7 feedings the intake of nitro is the most inportant thing in veg ,in that range of ph
