Yes you'll need nutrients, I use the Fox Farms Trio Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom and Grow Big. You'll need to ph the water you give it especially when you add nutes. It's not that complicated get yourself some liquid ph test drops on line or at a hydro store and you'll be fine you want your water to be between 6.8 and 7.0 for soil.

1st thing is dump the foil and get yourself some 'MYLAR' material you can stick to the walls like wallpaper.. 'FOIL' is just going to reflect more heat than light... and if heat is still a problem get a cool tube with a votex/fan + ducting.. should solve your temperature issues.

Yep what he said dude, 10 inches? really?... invest in a grow tent or setup a grow room.. see my signature link for ideas.

as for your box size.. i think an autoflower strain is even too big for that size box you have there.. you need to updade bro..

visit a hydroponic store and get some ideas, put a plan together and go with that.

yeah but this is kind of a stealth op if you know what I'm saying. Not really any room for a grow tent or bigger box. I could probably get away with a little bigger box, but I've put so much effort into this damn thing and it'd be a shame to let it go with out giving it a try haha. what about if i light it in 12/12 the whole time.. do u think i can get a small plant with some decent buds?

I tried MIracle Gro organic potting mix and it wasn't too bad, but it was my first grow ever and the I used no nutes or anything...I literally planted the seed for fun and then kinda stuck a pot in the window and didn't worry about it for the next 5 months til I realized when driving past the house I could see it in the window and it was starting to bloom...it made some bud, but not what you might call good bud--- hahahahaha... I think it was like 3 feet tall and only yielded 6 grams...hilarious. I have since gotten more serious about the whole thing.

Yeah but even of it get like 2 grams in this thing, id be happy!!

I took a picture here of my grow box, on the right hand side is an Axe deoderant , so you can get an idea of the size of this thing. I understand its pretty bad, but for my first ever grow box its got sentimental value now hahahah. But as the question arose before, do you think i can get ANYTHING out of this bat boy?

This forum is just that a forum. It is not a believe everything you read here web site. A smart person is going to ask questions, get answers and then research those answers before making any decisions. Yes there are some who puke BS information like a meal of 2 day old oysters. But again, if someone is too lazy to research something and just takes the first suggestion and runs with it killing his plants in the process...the only thing I feel sorry for is the plants.

You can get bigger stealth grow rooms dont be a fool ull waste so.much time and cash for nothing and be at a loss.
Try to get a bigger room you wont regret it. Yes 12/12 will help with.lots.of lst 1st but ull be pushn it.

Well i figure i can make 5 grams last as long as i can while I'm growing my next plant lol hopefully with more success

IMO fro the looks of ur box ur probably not going to be able to get past the sprout stage of ur grow. you have some serious height restraints goin on there. once it starts growing it'll be scorched by your light
