how often do you change your resivor and are you using the fert at full strength. i have a similar setup, 4 plants 2 tubs, 5 gal each with a 400 watt hps. i used a clear tub the first time, got all the way to budding, but the plant s dies from root rot. i was so pissed

First off, if most of us veg'd for 49 days, we'd have three foot plants, or at least I know I would. Under your exsisting light scheme, dont be disappointed with a very low yield. Flowering plants actually need more intense light to properly develope and thrive. I wish you luck. but suggest you increase your lighting, and be prepaired for increased growth once flowering.

I would only trim leaves that are shading flowering sites, otherwise, your plant needs those leaves...Brussels

As for your lighting, I think for veg u have enough light but barely. as Brussels said more light wouldnt hurt but only help! wether u decide to keep your current lighting setup or to add on to it you need to get a roll of mylar. you wouldnt belive how much it helps. you would lose any light what so ever mylar is one of the only things that reflect 100% of light. nothing is absorbed. so get a roll and surround your babies with it. they'll love it and will without a dought repay you :D
