in my state 72 plants are max. I've been cloning/grafting/culturing for many years. It was natural to approach this when realizing that half of my legal plant count was being used up by clones, non stop. the rest is as clear as day to the open mind. These 30 or so plants are now in cycle, mostly except for a week or so, while they sprout from a rootball(off the shelf) and harden off a little. one can soon see that with diligent planning this is the very top of hydroponics and it's usefulness has only just begun. I shared one possibility that found great resistance here.

I saw today that america has now spliced genes of a rabbit and a human, grown in vitro. We have done successful head transplants on monkeys, we have pigs growing human organs and using human blood, and as I said plants are now growing human tissue for transplant. All of this would be impossible if not for tissue culture advances since 1920.

still wondering why a lab would be tinkering with the oldest known medicinal plant of all time, shown to adversely effect cancer cells and brain/bod diseases and has never killed anyone, and has been used since the beginning of time?
making bio lumi mj was a huge step towards the study of the plant and it's genetics. I highly suggest you sit back and wait, while your head explodes with knowledge, as history repeats itself, once again.

thats exactly 33 times the sqft of mine ! you rock. are you manipulating in any other way ? The samples I supply have great names like "Tahoe OG Kush Basil" and Lemon Skunk Thyme", my biggest requests.
maybe you have some "unusable roots" or some callus of a proven creation needing a home to be studied, reported on ? similar to breeders in Amsterdam using us, experienced ones, for test runs. I'll reserve a dozen slots for you.

We are using some different ways to manipulate that i don't wish to discuss on a public forum, maybe we can chat in private about it....As for the different names we use, i tend to name our strains after infamous serial killers (Unabomber, Hannibal, Green River Killer, BTK, etc...)

I notice your vessels have cuttings in them. a cutting is counted as a plant, how do you get around plant numbers in the lab, and mailing actual plant clippings? I needed to make sure thay were roots or callus only, and would not sprout if left alone.

hey im in to it. got all my stuff ,not in a kit, gods be withme. this is right up my ally, clean clean clean. i got my 2 week web crash course 6 pades of notes and we're off. got so many questions.
is the simply hydroplonics vid. a liget way to start the X-plant?and if so would i have to add ipa and or naa for the 3 stage rooting.and if so ,could i use something like dip and grow or woods. or do u have a med. that FOR MY EFFORTS will pay for the info. i will not give up on my quest for knowedge, this shit is so cool. oh, to that other dude, if u want to know why im into it, well its not to make more faster, nope,clonning is just as good and esaier yep.its for the simple fact that its better then shooting a ton of meth.its time consuming and i have alot of time left here so sleeping doesnt sound good when the eternel one could be near.sleep when u die learn and live now.

It wouldnt make any sense to do this as an alternative to cloning, Feminized seeds would be a much easier "live tissue" sample to aquire. But it would be cool to do. Who would have thought growing weed would have led you to cloning from live tissue samples? With this hobby you can find a reason to learn just about anything

Wouldn't make any sense compared to cloning? Really? Why is that?.....Feminized seeds? Really? Do you happen to know how feminized seeds come to be and what it does to there true genetic makeup? Maybe this will help your decision to see if it is not a viable option to cloning:

  Tissue culture: It’s not changing of genetic material or organism- rather multiplying the genetic material. Almost all commercially available foods and most breeds of domesticated animals are the result of people’s interference. In the field of molecular biology they have helped to further improve and fine tune genetic manipulations. Most genetically engineered medicines are accepted with out question. In the future will require more food grown in smaller spaces with less water and less light all while breeding out molds, bacteria, yeast, viruses and more.
  Cloning vs. Tissue Culturing
  With Cloning
  

  • A shortage of mother’s,

  Seeds are known to carry virus through their RNA, which means the mother has a virus, which means your clones will have a virus and anything that you breed with will have a virus. Viruses will appear to look like a nutrient deficiency.
  
  

  • Mothers take more light,
  • The bigger your plant gets the more photosynthesis it requires. Photosynthesis equals gas exchange
  • They are not cost effective,

  Because of the space they take up, they use more electricity, water, and nutrients. And it is just not overall efficient because you are working outside of the plants natural biological clock.
  

  • Cuttings can have a poor survival rate,

  With Tissue Culturing
  

  • There is no damage to the genetic material,
    • • • • • • • • You can hold consistency through tissue culture for 20+ years. You are always working inside its biological clock.
  • We are multiplying the genetic material,
  • Instead of wounding the plant we are multiplying its cell structure and holding it in a juvenile state with no fragmented cells.
  • Thousands of plants can be cultured at one time,
  • If you start off with 25 plantlets and do not add any more, within 8 months you can have up to 12,000 plantlets.
  • Through tissue culturing it helps breed bacteria, fungi, viruses, and yeasts,
  • Diseases hang on to mutated and fragmented cells. Through Tissue Culture those cells are removed.
  • You can have thousands of different strands with very little space,

  On one 2ft x 4ft x 6ft rack you could have up to 1,200 plantlets.
  
  

  • You use less light,
    • • You do not need more than 3000 lux per 100’s of plants
  • You use less water,
  • One liter can make up to 70 plantlets a home.
  • You use less nutrients,

  You only use grams of all 16 elements of nutrients per liter instead of 100’s of milliliters.

Hi Pickle,You are right, in your circumstance it makes no sense to clone. But in my case, it's an extra hundred plants in cycle a year...now, even you can see the cents(sic) and $ in this, I hope. I know you do not understand it yet, but that doesnt mean it isnt achievable. The only wasted efforts I've noticed in tissue cloning is this redundant obtuse mind thought I encounter here. I would think one might say, at first, "this makes no sense to me, and seems foreign and difficult, but these guys are really serious about it, so I 'm going to sit back and learn something, without purporting more false information and useless opinions." but thats how I think. This forum is probably the last place on earth to market to, but for me, these threads were suppose to provide some insight, as well as learning, and networking. If the next reader does not believe this is happening, successfully as described, please dont comment, just listen and learn, and continue propagating your diseased genetics, spreading your muddy code to friends and family. When it's time to seriously medicate, and is important enough to you to demand the very best, purest plants, come on back with an open mind

1 liter water, 1tblspn agar,2tblspnsugar,sup thrive(guessing,never used it)and nutes to 200ppm. not sure what your stage 3 is, assuming it is sprouting, and you'll need cytokines, not auxins to sprout, at varying amounts, depending on results desired. hope that helps, anti fungals, and preservatives are a huge help to. make sure you sterilize the mix, and stir it well. lysol, and then some more lysol, even.

actually, I cloned plants from live tissue decades before I grew pot, so it doesn't seem so strange afterall. My entire life has been in greenhouses, indoor mj grow rooms,..always knew I would if legal. I've grown my own hydro vegetables/herbs, indoors and in a greenhouse 1300 gallon tilapia aquaponic system since 1990. and smoked tons of purchased substandard(usually) weed. I waited for the legal day, and planted verified breeder seeds indoors in a custom 360 sqft wicked room, the rest is history.

yeah, the roses with thc is BS...so is the glowing MJ, as far as i know...they DID make glowing tobacco plants as proof of concept, but there is no point in doing that to a plant that is illegal in almost every country. There are some wild claims in this thread, but don't let that cloud your judgement...tissue culture is on the level, and it would be nice to learn more about it from experienced botanists.
