K got a fan on em got all but one out of the bag. The last one is barely showing and I'm not sure I want to let him out. One issue. I was looking @ one and its taproot was fuzzy. Is this mold or is it micro roots?

Edit: Answered my own question. It's roots.

Here they are! One is still in the plastic cuz she is shy... Probably should have put the one that is kinda laying there in the bag too... We'll see what happens. Let me know if I should like right away or something!

Edit: The best ones are the ones I put strait into the soil... They are skrawng.

Yea I'm just tryin to keep em in check! Don't want em gettin all lanky on me! I think I'm going to be LSTing them... I'm not sure I'm down with topping FIMing seems legit but it's toppingish. If anyone has any input on that it would be greatly appreciated...

Edit: Yes, it's still early!

Congrats on the little runts man I here for the ride if you have any questions just ask, and I will be doing my update when the lights tonight so you all will see the first week of my LST progress its crazy how much it has changed, IMO I think LST should be one in one with CFLs because of the benefits of it, and its basically no healing time unlike topping, cropping, or fimming keep it up bro.

They've all stood up now and the true leaves are getting bigger. I'm finding it rather difficult to find a small fan. It turns out they are "out of season" here. I won't give up though... the tallest one seems to be happy about 2cm from the light lol. It's not warm at all so im going to leave her. I switched rooms and my temp went down and my humidity went up so I'm pretty stoked. It's still only 26% humidity but that is hella better than 16. Only 20-24 to go.... I'm excited they all took though.

You can get the fans out of any old computer tower or other small electric devices that run 24/7 because they need to bee cooled. They also have them at radio shack or other computer apliance places.

Your humidity is WAY low, you might need to get a humidifier to put in your grow space or at least in the same room. Humidity for seedlings and plants in the veg cycle grow best at 55% to 65% humidity. a little higer or lower not a big deal. But you can get humidifier's for arount $20 at wal-mart, K mart, Walgreens, CVS, Drug stors.. It would help them grow a good bit to get that RH raised up a bit so you might wanna look into getting one.

Well I'm gonna put more water cups in there for now.... I can't find a damn desk fan for the life of me. So I have a box fan that I prop up on the outside but as soon as I put that in there it drives my temp to sub 70 and my humidity back to 16. It get to 28 with one cup and sponge.

Yeah I meant to say something earlier to you about them being out of season which i think is crap but right now your better off ordering from amazon with looking for a paticular fan, at least thats how I got my 2 4" fans because my other ones went out on me, and couldn't find them for ish, until I went online, and for the twin fan I lucked up on the last one at wally world about a month ago.

Well. I got rid of the one florescent "grow light" and plugged in my 6 (4 6500 2 2700) CFLs. Umm whoever said that CFLs produce almost no heat is a damn liar! My box went up 10 degrees! I found a desk fan that I can put in there. I'm also probably going to have to order a window fan... for circulation. I've dropped a lot more money than I thought I was going to into this... Now I have to do well.

-Nervous but hopeful-

They really dont put off much heat COMPARED to other types of lighting but they do, and if you had fan blowing on them you could hold them in your hand the whole day without burning, it doesnt take much to cool them, also with the funds just get it piece by piece an not all at once I mean my box have totaled about 350-450.00 dollars but that was over a 4 month period and during that time I was growing while adding here and there, just get a floor box fan, and put in there blowing on light and plants, since its soo big and put it on low til you get your money right, plants cant see but they feel so no need for the better things right now just enough to get by, and let your ladies pay for themselves you know. Also dont worry about temp that much as long as your between 67-87f your golden, although 77 is prime for them, its not necessary think about outside it will not stay 77f for 2-4months straight, they are strong man so no need to be nervous just dont over do it, and keep some spare change just in case you need some things(lights, bug repellent, cal mag, weed, etc..)you never know.
