Loft Build - Insulation Issues

After completing my second grow i decided to move it into the loft, the house has limited room. The loft isn't insulated and the cost of doing that is too high so i want to build a small insulated room about a meter cubed. Here is my plan and hopefully you guys can give me your opinions.

I plan to construct the room using stud timber and lining it with 3mm ply. The inside of the room would be lined with 50mm of kingspan insulation (foam with foil on each side). There would be 100mm of mineral wool on the outside and then an air gap and finally another layer of kingspan (near the roof tiles 50mm air gap).

The purpose of all that insulation is threefold.

1. Keeping it warm in winter (easy)
2. Keeping the 40+ degree Celsius summer heat out of the grow room (more difficult)
3. To prevent detection by those annoying police choppers

The 600w HID will be air cooled and exhausted into the main house to help defeat detection. The intake will come from a different room.

What do you guys think? Will this be cool enough in the summer AND be protected against leos choppers? I'll be taking pictures when construction starts so you can all have a good look. I've purchased the necessary items already but wanted to check what you guys reckon before i give it a go. I grow for my own medical needs but leo won't give a fuck about that i'm sure.

I dont think your in the US everything is metric that you described . The heat in the summer will probably require an a/c unit added at that time . The other stuff sounds ok to me . LEO on the other hand , what methods of detection do you think your up against ? Cause youre right about that - LEO doesnt give a shit about you as a person .

Yeah I've mentioned on other threads I'm not in the US, across the pond in the UK like plenty of others.

In the UK LEO fly over randomly with IR cameras in a lot of areas, so that's what i'm up against. I was hoping the insulation would eliminate the need for an AC, i'm basically making a box which should be warm in the winter and act as a cold room in the summer, isolated from the insanely hot air of the loft space. The intake will come from the house which is cooler than the loft space anyway.

The only reason I ask is that to accurately answer your question I would have to be familliar with the conditions there . You probably wont know for sure about the a/c till the heat of the summer arrives . That IR camera shit freaks me out dude , sounds risky in a loft with helos and IR . Good luck . No way to have it in your living space ? I been busted b4 and it's no fun .

It was in the living space but just no room anymore, it's the loft or back to buying it from scumbag dealers.

Hoping someone with loft growing experience can give me some advice before i start this.
