haven't used em. but most are the same. have your paperwork ready when you get there. if you know who you want assigned as your MMC/caregiver, make sure it is on the paperwork. a good place will put everything together for you in a packet before you leave. some will take care of the mailing portion. make sure you understand completely what your next steps are before you leave. once mailed, expect @ 30-45days before you get your response from MMED. if it's a RedCard, happy shopping :)
 
if your signed up with particular dispensary or private caregiver does that mean you can only get meds there? how does that work?
 
No you can get your meds from any dispensary "MMC" with your card even if someone else is your caregiver (or MMC). However patient to patient sales are a no no unless they are your caregiver. That is the law, not what i feel is right...... but they feel its easier to track this way.

Hi and thanx for that info. When you say "track" does it mean that the state is actively keeping record of legal purchases as they do in "traditional" pharmacies?
 
Basically the dispensary wants u to make them your caregiver then they have u sign a paper saying you wont grow your own...then they grow your recommended number of plants

Mainly to track that legal is staying legal and not slipping into the black market, or coming from the black market into the medical community. I believe they do intend to catch any card holder buying excessive amounts of meds, i.e. going to several mmcs a week and buying 2 ozs at each. I wouldn't worry about it if you are not selling back to the black market, just a formality at this point.
