I think you folks who want the victims' families do the honors are mistaken. As passionate as it may sound, for most people it would only compound their grief I suspect. Better that justice be served by others. It needs to be served however.

Kids shouldn't be on these bullshit pharmaceuticals. My step brother is all tweaked out as an adult because he took ritalin and adderall for 10+ years as a child...and I have arthritis from taking massive prednisone doses for UC

Big pharma is just trying to kill us lol

No, "big pharma" is trying to ALMOST kill us. Then we have to take more of their products.

Great rant! Couldn't agree more-- my only addition is that they should let the family of the murdered girl have the satisfaction of deciding and carrying out the girl's punishment themselves. Imo a much more satisfying and economical solution.
What if they get a taste for killing? You know like potato chips or masturbation and they just can't stop.

i think this is really whats wrong with people and americans, if someone kills someone and you go and kill them you're still a murderer. like i dont get this logic of killing people who've killed.
not to mention youre giving them the easy way out.... they're dead after. who knows what goes on after you're dead. Therefore it continues to me to make more sense if you let murderers sit in solitary confinement for the rest of their lives and let them live with their problems and the guilt and the sorrow and the boredom of starring at a concrete wall all day,.
OK well. Hang on. I'm an American and there's not a damn thing wrong with me. :) Haven't you ever watched the Boondock Saints? We have to kill what's evil, so that which is good may flourish! It's a great movie. I'm gonna watch it right now I think.

Maybe mistaken for some--but let the wronged party decide the punishment. I think it is perfectly fine if the victim's family wants nothing to do with it--just give them the power to choose.

I think if someone strangles your 9 year old child it should be perfectly legal for you to walk right up to them and shoot them. In the face even, if you really want to.

That would be ok with me. Assuming there is no doubt of guilt of course, and there doesn't appear to be any, then give her a room, a rope and a chair.
Maybe some people in prison are just too pussy to kill themselves..
Assisted suicide for prisoners, it won't take them all out but it's a start.

I wonder if they are too pussy? Or if the state makes it impossible for them--I say put them alone in a cell with a rope, some razor blades, a bottle of oxy and let 'em go at it.
