Outdoor without soil...

Hi everyone. Im new here.
Thanks a lot for the nice forum.

I have actually 3 ultra haze#1, 4 Hymalayan gold, 3 lemon skunk and 6 maroc, all females, grown to make clones.

I plan to grow outside but I was wondering if I could just take the soil from the outdoor spot WITHOUT having to bring my how soil like pro-mix etc...

I know for best results a perfect soil is always better, but i think the soil around here is good, its a strong agricultural region.

So, to minimise effort, I could just bring bone meal, coconut fibers, and perlite and mix it with local soil?

Anyone has done this with great results?
Anyone had bad result?
Anyone knows what would be the best light-weight stuffs to mix with the local soil?

yes i think you could (i dont know where you are)but if the soil is good.it should be no problems.

i have done it here (australia) with just the addition of some fish bodies to the plot.(i do a lot of deep sea fishing so freely availiable).

as to the rest it depends on how well the soil drains(if is free draining you dont really need to add any thing)

it is just a matter of doing some tests to see how the soil is and add what is needed.

check the ph level it should be around 6.5 - 6.8

wet the soil and squeeze it ,(it should hold its shape but not be sticky)
if still not sure take a soil sample fill a little pot and pour water in and see if it drains through.(not very technical but it works)you want the soil to drain but not just flow through.

and if that is all ok just plant and feed,

buy a n-p-k soil testing kit so that you will be able test your to tell what your soil is lacking, and this way you will know wich ammendements to add, takes all the gues work away!
