Took me a bit to hunt down these purple plant grow tubes and mix spectrum grow tubes for my Biax PL-L 55w fixture
Now I just need to hunt down eight T5HO purple tubes for my T5HO fixture and my hunt for the perfect T5HO lighting will be over. Two foot purple T5HO tubes are easy to get overseas, but in the USA, finding 2' T5HO purple tubes is a headache. I'll find them though, if I have to, I'll order them overseas, but I'll order twice as many as I need, and if one or two get broken while they travel across the Atlantic, I'll still be good to go.
The PL-L 55 watt dual purple tube is exactly what I wanted, but I decided to try out the The PL-L 55w blue and purple as well, which combines blue and a purple plant grow tube that produce two different spectrum's of blue and red in one PL-L 55 watt bulb.
PS, I was so excited when these came, after I installed them I had an Ogre moment and even though I put the old 6500k PL-L 55w tubes in bubble wrap to safely store them, I accidentally tapped one of my older 6500k PL-L 55 watt tube's pins on my c02 tank while I was tucking the older tubes away, you guessed it, I broke one of the older tubes.
(it would have really sucked if I broke one of these new purple tubes, but it was still a bummer. These tubes are delicate, that's why I didn't order them overseas.
Funeral remembrance for the PL-L 6500k old tube that I broke will be held at 8PM PST, if you could smoke a bowl, vapor hit or bonghit at 8PM PST in remembrance of this tragic ogre moment accident, it would be appreciated.
