I've never heard about letting the ballast cool before switching back on. You definitely want to let a hot bulb cool down but if you are switching bulbs the new one isn't going to be hot. Might have a bum bulb.
My digital ballast supposedly is supposed to have ten minutes before trying to turn it back on after its been off. Could it be something like that? Guess you woulda figured that out by now !
not sure what your questioning, if you can be more specific i could probally answer your question better. my next grow i am going to LST for around 3 months
i just got off the phone with Amazon.com. its either a "all or nothing" policy so what im going to do is return the whole system. its going to be 3-5 days before my re-ship reciept comes in mail so i can ship back for free. i have until feb 17th to return it (has to be postmarked by that date) i will harvest my current plant and shut down the tent untill my new unit arrives.
just got off the phone with customer service again.(i love customer service when i have a buzz they are fun to fuck with)
i threw away the yo yo hangers and gave away the timer they give you for "Free" so i wanted to make sure that was not going to cause a issue and they pretty much said they could care less...fkin awesome
From what I hear, they may stretch more during veg... Have you heard any other pros or cons about it? More lumens with the hps, don't know if that matters if it isn't the "appropriate" spectrum.
yeah this grow is over and your already in my other thread. i wont be posting any updates here as the only thing i have to update is a empty BAG just fig i would shout out to anyone that was following but missed my new thread
