right so, due to my heat problem inside the cabinet iv installed 2 new fans, 1 extracting air and 1 blowing in fresh air. They are both 12v computer fans, hooked up to an old phone charger. they make a little noise but i dont mind too much. Im still feedin them every 2 or 3 days with bio biz bio grow and they seem to be doing just fine. hopefully the yellowish colour in the leaves will fade now that i have the heat problem under control.

Do a little reading on ventilation. Nice attempt, and good start. The only problem is if you have one fan pulling air in and one pushing air out, it does the same thing as if you only hooked up one fan. For instance, if you had one fan pushing air out at 50 cubic feet per minuite, that means that 50 cubic feet of air is being removed every minuite. Likewise, if you turned that fan around, you would be pushing 50 cubic feet of air in every minuite. But it doesn't really matter which way you point it, either way only 50 feet of air are being moved. The same thing is happening to your cab now. 50 feet in and 50 feet out. If instead you hooked both of them up to pull air out, instead of 50 in and 50 out, you get 100 out. Make sense?

most people opt for pushing air out. It's much more important to be getting rid of the hot air. But you can read up on it in the FAQs and decide for yourself. But keep in mind that if you hook both of them up to extract hot air, you need a pasive air intake. You can remove all the hot air you want but if there isn't an open whole where fresh air can get in it won't do much.

There could be several reasons. But considering that you don't have any ventilation and you don't know what the temps are in there, I'd address that concern first. It's probably your culprit, and if it isn't it will cause you loads of problems down the road anyway.
As far as soil goes, as long as you arn't torturing the little ladies, I would rule out nutrient deficiencies, so the only other option could possibly be overwatering, but I highly doubt that. Try out the heat probs, then move on from there. You're getting there bro, keep it up.

well i highly doubt its over watering,the soil is usually pretty dry by the time i water them. im pretty sure it was the heat cos the leaves seemed to be pretty dry, i just wanted to see if it could be anything else. i spose we'l find out in a couple of days.

yeah spk has some good points on ventilation. Though if your going to keep the fans on the bottom of the cab you should have them blowing in, as heat rises and you wont get a good flow of the hot air going out. What id recomend, with my cab experience, is you mount the fans on the top of the box and do as spk sugget and vent all that air out with a passive intake.
