Hey catt. How is it growing. You and I are in the same boat!! It's not like we can run out and pick up a few sweet clones from the overstock department or just outright purchase decent seeds at a reasonable price. Were stuck in N.E.

I'm with the chief and am just a little worried that your going to plant Shorty's offspring and end up with a 95% male hermaphrodites. Sometime a hermie is 99% male and sometimes 99% female or anywhere in between. You just don't know and the chances that shorty's seeds will produce plants like shorty are pretty slim. It would really suck big time to put 12 weeks into plants that just are not going to do it for you. You would be better off just going with good bagseed again. Even if they are long growing Sativa's I think you would be happier.

I'm going to bite the bullet and buy 10 femmed seeds for outdoors next spring. I am also hoping that my goodbagseed X Master Kush cross produces some healthy seed. Won't be femmed, but what the hell. Right now I'm thinking Aurora or black indica but you are not kidding about choices!!! Far too many strains for me to make the right decision. I need short fast plants even for my outdoor situation. I got 4 out of 5 decent plants out of Nirvana which is OK on one hand and flushing a 10 spot down the hopper on the other.

Do some more research my friend cause I don't know chit but I would really hate for you to have a failed experiment. What's the story?? Your camera broken! Rock on sister. I'm thinking two weeks max for me and I am down to molasses only now. I might even get a decent yield if I'm lucky. Say hey to your dirty little girls for me.

Hi Rotted, everything growing well over here....I think. I've been fighting off nanners here and there for a week or so, although I seem to have the gals back under control for the moment. Their growth seems to have slowed down a bit this last week (towards the end things seem a little tougher for us)...but no worries at the moment It's my first grow and ya live and ya learn, right? That's why I am here after all.....to learn from people who are willing to share their experiences (I'm a hands on kinda learner), and to share with you all my experience as well. This is my first grow and it will NOT be my last. It is a little tougher here than most mm states. We do not yet have clones, or dispensaries, no organic hydro stores to get fancy dirt and stuff from. We have to GROW it with very minimal resources and it SUCKS! If you didn't have to pay the state $30,000 a year just to "be" a dispensary, I would be #1 on the list you bet your ass!!!!!! They sure do make it tough on us boy!!!! We have to renew our mm licenses every year and pay the man the fee.....EVERY YEAR
Anyways, sorry for ranting about that.....just makes me so mad ya know? I agree about my seeds, I haven't found anymore so far, and the few I did find I pulled off before they could mature and get hard. That's been my life the past week....pulling and checking and pinching and checking. At least I have a reason to rough em up a little bit....lol! And I don't want things to suck for me either....so guess what I did???? I told my husband I would just "LOVE" to be able to order some seeds for Valentines Day. So he bought me a visa gift card so I could pick out what I wanted. I decided to go with Bubblelicious, I got 5 feminized seeds. I could of got the auto flower for the same price but I don't mind veggin for a little while And now that I have my setup the way I want (minus good ventilation which I will be taking care of) I think I can get a pretty good yield. I wish I could use my compost bin, whoever put it 50 ft away from my door, downhill, in the dark, is an idiot. As soon as it starts getting warm I'll be moving it right next to my front door and you can help me with making my OWN stinky stuff I'm thinking I'd like to take all of my bagseed ( I have 100's) and do something with them outdoors...not sure if the summer lasts long enough up here

I'm down to molasses only now too....officially now....I did give them 1/2 strength bloom booster tonight for the last time. It just seems like they are so def. in everything I had to give them one last good meal before they die. I'm just trying to see how long the girls can hold out without pleasing themselves and making too many seeds. I'm figuring about 2 weeks too! Thursday will be about 8 weeks, do you count the flowering time as when you saw pistils or when you flipped to 12/12? Up in the air about that one?? I sure will tell the girls you said hi, and they told me to tell you they are trying sooo hard to clean up their act!!! Its amazing how in just 1 week things can change so much.....I didn't think my ladybuds were growing very much until I looked at last weeks pictures....and I was like "holy cow"! I think the whole nanner and hanging seed experience has really taken me for a loop and has made time seem to stand still. This has been the LONGEST week ever in my grow!!! I haven't seen any nanners today YAY!!!! No more seeds either. A few nanners I pulled off the other day looked dead and were empty inside, like a yucky yellow color....could I be just that darn lucky?? When do you guys start the flowering countdown??? When you see your first set of pistils or when you flip your lights? If I go by when I flipped my lights they are almost 8 weeks in flower. But f I go by when I first saw pistils...Nitro (the yellow one) would be 9 weeksflower on Thursday and the others about a week or more behind. No amber trichs yet....still heavily flowering based on all the new white pistils I see (except on nitro....hers are starting to recede). I'm sure they are sick and tired of me picking at them, so I hope I don't have to for a little bit. Nitro (the plant I od'd on nitro in veg) has finally begun to yellow at the fan leaves....honestly I'm surprised it took this long for them to start dying. It's only yellowing on the fan leaves though....the inside and outside of her seem to be just as green as she was 9 weeks ago....lol! Anyone have any objection to me cutting these off....or should I just let them die on their own? Ladybud.....(the big plant on the far right) is doing very well She has 4 strong heavy colas that spiral up the stem like a spiral staircase....and she has about 25+ nice dense Christmas tree shaped shebuds spread evenly throughout She still smells like fresh limes Her big fans are yellowing a bit too. Now shorty (my bushy beast), her colas have def. ripened up a bit. I also burned a few leaves on the top....but I'm not too worried about it. I'd rather burn a few leaves than have my lights not penetrating...lol! The top leaves on shorty's colas are getting pretty dark purple looking, when I look at them under the loop the trichs look like they are burned into the leaf at the edges.....it's weird all new for me!!!! I still am in shock at how much they have changed in the past week. I hope I have good news next week.....I hope they can make it until next week. How long does it take for a nanner to open up and pollinate? How long after that do I have before my ladybuds start packing on the seeds? So far....only a few (use to be) hanging on the bottom of shorty and 1 on the very tip of one of Ladybuds heads (like a star on a Christmas tree)....

Just feeding molasses from now until harvest....I just figured they needed something, just a little bit. Plus....now I won't be so tempted to harvest early What do you guys like to do for a flush? I was thinking of ice water flushing Nitro?

I hear icewater starting 3/4 through the flush will shock the roots to push some crystals out, but I am looking for the simple/for flavor cure.
If I want more THC I can just roll a fatter joint lols

I want to flush for flavor too....I want the best tasting ladybuds I can get I figured I could ice water cure Nitro to bring out her colors (that's what I've heard so far)! After all...she smells like cherry turkey stuffing so Id like to at least make her look a little prettier...lol! Fatter joints are always better ~ smoke on homie I passed your kind words on to my girls....they told me to give you this....

At least you are an MM state dudette. Hard to believe backwoods northern redneck MEniacs have more liberal dope laws than Taxichusetts. It is decriminalized here now for under an OZ and I don't drive around with a zip that often so I worry less. It goes on the ballot next November but as it's written you have to be dead to benifit. I'm just glad my doctor can prescribe perc 30 berries while I wait for the law to change to allow him to prescribe weed. The percs are killing me.....You know sister all we really need is the OK to grow and seeds.

Drag that compost bin closer to the house catt. You can't buy better soil than you can make. You move the bin and I will deliver a few fish boxes of seaweed. It's god's gift to gardening and it's FREE!!

You do understand catt that no matter what happens at this point in our grows we should all be smoking better weed than we usually buy. I know I could chop today and have weed that's going to get me higher than a rat. We have already WON not that a couple more weeks won't make us bigger winners. I hit seven weeks today under 12/12 catt. I am just going by the day I flipped the lights not when they showed their personals.

I want to get a few pictures developed. How do I do that discretely. It would be nice to have a couple hard copy cool prints. I am showing my BEST friend my grow today and even that makes me a little nervous. "Loose lips sink ships". I have been so good but I'm so proud of the girls I want to show someone.

When I saw the little branch with the seed on it...I got all nervous and cut it off. How long does it take for seeds to mature inside your plant? I'm sure you can understand my worries.

Im sorry I thought you where talking about green leaves, if they are more than 75% yellow you can pull'em, as far as the seeds I honestly couldn't tell you i'm sorry, but I do understand them concerns like I said you really care for them you cant help but to have a relationship with them, and does your hubby know of these tendencies.

I've always clipped yellowing leaves catt. Don't think it makes any difference at all to the plant but the just look neater. I think your dirty girls are looking just great. I wouldn't worry about a few seeds. As long as the plant THINKS it needs to set more seed the baby will keep growing. It's when they get that signal from themselves that it's time to focus on ripening seed rather than more flowers. If you have ever planted marigolds you get the idea. Plant one in your garden and leave the one flower it came with and that's all you get pretty much. Cut that flower out and the plant panics and tries to put out as many flowers as it can. It's why deadheading annuals is a necessity.

I thought my plants were slowing down too catt until I took them out of their box today for pics. They are going strong and I'm feeling good. I just wish I had some bubblicious on the way.

I have NO idea what to do about flushing and when to start. I think I could flush them with urine and they would smoke better than what I'm buying. I'm just gonna watch what you guys do and follow along. It's getting exciting!!!

That's OK Chief My Nitro is really the only one I'm concerned about pulling the yellows off of. 2 of her colas have yellowing all the way and I just didn't want to cut ALL of the fan leaves off one branch, is this right? Your flowering time sounds totally right....that means Nitro will be 8 weeks in flower tomorrow (she showed pistils before flowering) and shorty and Ladybud are a week behind them at 7weeks. I wish I could just go to sleep and wake up 2 weeks from now Wait...no I don't....then they would be covered in nanners and have seeds everywhere.....never mind. Plus....I would miss out on any explosive growth (hoping)!!! I thought I would be sad when it was approaching harvest.....But I actually feel quite proud at what they have given me
Shhhhh about the scissor thing, he worries enough when I clean my .22....he says "stop looking at me when your cleaning that thing, IT MAKES ME NERVOUS" LOL!
