anyone use human compost

i was doing a stucco patch at the water waste facility and one of the workers took home some human compost(actually looks good) and put it in his rose garden and said he had the best roses on the block. he said its cooked and all the bad stuff is gone. they use it in cotton fields and other non edible crops.

part of the good stuff in compost is the living bacteria/micro organisms. if its cooked out i dont see much benifit, im sure there is material that can be broken down in it but dam man just get some cow shit, human waste is disgusting, they also say pissing on your plants can be benificial........

no all waste is not the same most of the best ferts are made with guanos. but human waste is a bad thing no matter what they did with it. in my home town they do the same thing with mulch and human compost i can't think of anything more nasty. i would stay away and use composted cow,chicken, bird, bat, anything but human.

No, actualy its not. Many Herbivorous mammals have a totally different digestive system than humans and other Omni/Carnivorous mammals.

Cow, Horse, Elephant, Moose and Deer produce the Best waste for growing plants, because it breaks down the product the least leaving some for the soil to break up on its own....

fecal matter is not fecal matter. it is dependant on what the shitter eats, humans consume meat so our shit is riddled with bacteria and other things that will make you sick. cow shit is composed of plant matter. there is a huge difference.

anyways, if you go to a dairy farm with a pillowcase they will probally let you fill it up for free, then get some airstones, molasses and a 40-55 gal drum of water and brew up some shit tea. it is really good SHIT!!!!

if you can find chicken shit and any other no carnivourous shit load that up too, no dog cat or human shit tho its not good shit

Shit is shit. I seen some big ass plants grown off leach Field of someones house. And back in the day when they could dump human shit on the ground all kinds of stuff grew in it.Once it is broke down it is no different then any other compost.

We got a bunch of "Shit" experts in here! Who knew!! haha....to say all humans diets are meat and blah blah is a very biased opinion. There are a lot of humans out there with plant diets, we call them Vegans or vegetarians .

Actually, there are programs at some sewage treatment facilities where the treated waste product is composted with wood products for a year or so and then sold as garden mulch. Works very well as a top dressing. Would I put it on my cannabis plants? Probably not, but only for psychological reasons....compost from those programs would be fine. My greatest concern with that product was the level of heavy metals. Where I got mine, the MSDS sheet was fine, but in higher population areas, might have a higher concentration of householder cleaners, etc. (I try and stay fairly organic.)

Google "sewage treatment facilities" + mulch or compost. You might find a program close to you.

Must be doing in differently where you live. This stuff smelled like sawdust, and worked great on my perennials. Didn't use it on veggies, but everything thrived!

whats sick is that the employee i spoke to said los angelas was the only county that recycled there water back to drinking water, said it was as clean as bottled water but its just the fact. he also said if they shut down within 72 hours shit water would start coming out of man holes. i love my job for the fact its always somthing different that needs stucco.
