Do "the rules" matter to you?

You know, the shit politicians say we should all do, how we should all act, according to them? What if a law was passed by the majority of our elected officials that you didn't agree with? Do you generally just hold the sentiment of "well, fuck that law, doesn't apply to me, I didn't vote for it, I don't agree with it", and if so, is that a bad thing or a good thing? How do you think most people would answer this question?

It really doesn't matter to me what they pass, I feel like I have this one life to live and it's my own choice how to live it, this applies to what I put inside my body, who I love, all things encompassing any decision I make regarding myself. I think if most people did the same thing, it would be a good thing. I think a lot of people are content with living in society with a government that tells them what to to do and how to act, just so long as they don't cross certain lines, lines which they're very familiar with (guns, freedom of speech, for the most part, censorship), and if more people thought like this inside their own heads on a day to day basis, they'd make better decisions about the government.

rules are there to "draw the line somewhere".

for the sake of general decorum rules should be followed whenever possible. that doesn't mean that a particular rule is "right" or that it shouldn't be disregarded, but anarchy is no better a solution. i'm a pretty big fan of civil disobedience, the key word being "civil".

when i get upset with someone, i don't say, "dammit you broke the law." i say, "you fucked me/him/her/us over. now something sucks for me that didn't suck before."

that's what matters. not whether you did as you were told, but whether you left a path of shit in your wake.

rules let me tell you something about rules they are put out there to give the rest of us no hope. o an there are so many laws out there that when you follow one you break another there is no way you can have a law to follow and not get yourself fucked over. i say fuck them all. basic human instinct thou shall not kill that shall not steal. simple if they pass a law i dont believe in im not under any right mind going to follow it. they dont need me to say its right ill show them its wrong by living my life against their hypocritical bullshit

Everything sounds good. However I am afraid a police state will put people under a yoke like none other. I'm not saying anything like concentration camps. Just, one by one, our cute little freedoms to speak out are KILLED! And then when noone cries out, there will be noone in power who will listen. Lights out...

if they make sense to me (as in dont touch both those wires at once! though why do i know that one? cause i broke it :D)

but we are talking governmental rules.

No.

Why?

blablabla.

why dont i hurt people? cause i dont like being hurt and i can see other people are the same (any animal in fact lol)

why dont i cheat and scam folks? cause i dont like it and i dont like to see the effects of such things.

why am i nice? cause i like happy people and that´s one of the biggest things in making happy people.

why do i follow the rules of the road?

cause ive seen the mess when people dont and been to places that have no rules of the road, its interesting for awhile, but people constantly get into accidents.

Why are there Laws?

cause there are fucking morons that dont know these "common sense" rules. they dont have an empathy yet and they have barely a brain.

thats the reason for the common folk

though actually rules and police are there mostly to protect the rich and their stuff from the poor. lol

I understand from the Illuminati's perspective that the middle class (police, military, office personnel) are a necessary buffer to protect the high and elite class from the piss poor and dangerous pirate low class.
