Just felt like adding that after germinating and sexing my last 5 Vortex seeds I ended up getting 6 females and 1 male out of 7 seeds grown. The other 3 that didn't make it germinated just fine but there was deadly accident that was 100% my fault.
100% Germination.
6/7 Females.
Badass.

How the hell do you get that many females without haveing feminized seeds? Are you doing something different when germinating? Or are the seeds just leaning towards female...no such thing I thought.

All I did was germinate in Rapid Rooters, transfer to Roots soil, and veg under 24 hour 400 watt MH...and 6/7 is the Ratio TGA Vortex gave me

I have pulled down my few Vortex phenos at 56, 58, and 60 days. I dont do trichome checks though.... so not sure how much amber they had. I think that I like the 56 day harvest the best.

I'll be damned, get the picture on the computer to find out it was a junk pic. Well I got 2 vortex ladies, damn attitude got me on the last shipment. Anyway here are the 2 ladies. Any idea on pheno dominance in em? I know junk pics, but I will get more as time goes on.

Here I go... Into the Vortex. I am excited. Seriously. I need a high powered sativa and this may be it.

I popped 5 Vortex recently and got 4 Females, 1 Male. Here is the story of the 4 Females.

All testers are being pheno'd in 1 gallon hard pots, mix4 soil, botanicare nutes at 75% strength.

These plants are incredibly resinous and smell amazing already. All have had to be staked up at this point.

Let's catch up on the phenos.

That is a tough one right now, it is hard to not pick a favorite but I am trying to 'love them all the same' LOL

I do have all 4 in full size 10 gallon smart pots vegging right now. I like to get a full size pheno run before I pick my favorite.

10 gallons, thats bad ass! your going to see a monster difference.

awesome. im doing to same thing as well. i got 3 girls, one indica leaning, one mix i think, and one Apollo13 girl all in 1 gal air pots. Gunna run the mix and Apollo leaners in bigger pots again to make my final choice. Love it!

Hey, heres my vortex outside in australia, its been about a week into no nutes in this photo. they faded really quickly aswell not sure if its normal or i did somthing wrong?

smells amazing, very mango like with a foul undertone to it. you can smell it (and the romulan/diesel) out the front of my house so im thinking of pulling early.
i got some try hard gangsters up the road and don't want them to smell it and rip me.

the resin is fierce! and the buds are small but rock hard. not sure if it is the small bud pheno or not, the but have lots of gaps and didnt really get fat just long and dense.

cant wait for the smoke report.

Update: TGA VORTEX PHENOs: Day 48 Flower

Here is my Day 48 of flower update. Of the 4 females, Vortex #1 is the shorter while #2,3,4 are taller. They are all changing color nicely and have an awesome, strong lemony scent. All 4 phenos are absolutely coated with resin. The resin heads are cloudy and beginning to show amber.

All 4 phenos look excellent and have graduated to 10 gallon full size runs which will give me much better information on them. At this point, #2 seems to be grabbing my eye... I don't know why.
