Cutting leaves - increasing cfl efficiency

Hey! I noticed that my cfl lights is not penetrating deep enough through foliage. Is it worth to try cutting big leaves to increase amount of light that reaches buds or that makes to much stress for the plants?

If it makes any difference, I`m growing autoflower from Short Stuff - Snow Ryder.

P.S. I have read that through flowering phase autoflower strains need some vegetative phase light as well, is that true or I should stick only to 2100-2700 K lights?

if a fan truly obscures a bud from the light, cut it, but be judicious. they are the powerhouses of your plant. i sometimes trim the leave, instead of removing it. or tuck it.

tie it down or supercrop it better to keep em on there especially for autoflowering strains. maybe just bend your whole plant sideways?

what scroglodyte said, you can also train leafs as well. training them to grow sideways can help expose all leaves.
