FIRST GROW - BLUE WIDOW - day 63 of flowering - tips/advice needed - pics inside

Hello good people,

I am attempting my first ever grow with a very basic setup, with blue widow and super lemon haze.

The blue widow is much further ahead of the slh as to be expected, however...

I am currently at around day 63 of 12/12 lights and still no sign of harvesting the blue widow anytime soon.

My questions are:

1. How much longer is this going to take approximately?
2. How much yield should i realistically be expecting to get?
3. Any tips to increase/maximize yield?

My setup:-
2x 2 gallon pots
1x 58W Flourescent tube
80% Miracle grow 20% perlite

My first grow included 2 blue widow clones I got from an experienced grower. I grew them under 400w hps in 3 gallon pots, LSTed. They finished within 9 weeks flowering and yielded about 2 ounces per plant. However I don't believe your setup will get close to that. From the pics, it looks like your plants are very healthy, but there isn't enough light to pack on that kind of weight. By looking at the hairs I would say you have a couple weeks but you need to check the trichs to tell for sure when they're done. Pocket microscopes are like 15 bucks at radio shack. Aluminum foil is not your friend. Paint the walls white or hang panda film or mylar. Get a better light, soil, and nutrients next time and you're end results will be much better, but for a first grow you're doing well. Good luck.

well it looks like you could use more light if the plants dont have enuf light they will not be able to grow as vigorously as they should. it looks like you will get a harvest but i dont think the nugs will get much bigger if light is the issue. on the other hand iv herd haze has a long bloom time are they getting enuf nutrients what and how ofter are you feeding

im not adding any nutrients, just water with adjusted ph. im watering around every 7 - 10 days, just watered them yesterday.

i am following "Seemore buds: Marijuana buds for less" journal as its my first time.

Up until recently it has been fairly on par in comparison to his journal, except for now it the final stage of flowering seems to be far behind and taking longer than expected.

How about flushing? is this necessary as i have only used miracle grow soil, which has its own nutrients and added no other nutes?

I will post updates over the next couple of weeks, up until i harvest.

You shouldnt need a flushing since nutrients werent a factor in your grow. Good lookin plants for what your working with man

does any1 have any idea of what kind of yield i should expect?

from what i can see on the plant so far, and judging from what an average oz looks like, its looks to me like its close to an oz, which i would be satisfied with.

is that realistic for this kind of setup?

also, this light im using was here at the property when i moved in, so i thought why not put it to use. Im going to invest in a higher wattage bulb soon though.

That's great you're not using nutrients because Blue Widow Hates nutrients i found out the hard way. I'm suffering now bummer...After seeing this guys plant I wanna throw mine away. Beautiful plants man!
