i will try that in the future, this grow is long done and over with. Thanx for the advice tho, i realize that with mites now. If u dont get rid of them when u first notice them (wich is hopefully right at the beginning) then ur pretty much SOL and have to just maintain the best u can.. i did that with my third grow that isnt recorded on this site.. i had 15 3.5-4 foot tall kush plants in 5 gal buckets with sterile soil and was liquid feeding every other week and watering in between with distilled water the WHOLE time.. was a nice grow had them under a 1000watt HPS on a 6 foot long light mover rail moving back and forth (would have used 2 lights but didnt have the funds, would have used even more if i had the money, along with a million other pieces of proper equipment), it was an ok grow until the mites came back, they totally deminished my yeild.. all i could do was keep killing them and removing the webs as best as possible.. a couple plants got so bad i just said fuck it and cut them down early and smoked them.. well then i got a scare from the cops so i had slowly cut down to 3 plants left becuz my understanding in canada (which could be totally wrong, hard to find out exactly what the rules are) is that if you have 1-3 plants is a $500 fine.. so i kept 3 and took the risk anyways... well what i got from all the other plants i just made weed cookies this and that random shit.. the 3 i had i got an ounce and a quarter off each plant... ya thats it WTF right lol.. amazing quality kush but just to think how much better everything could of bin i could have got like 4 ounces per plant but thats thinking ahead a little far of myself and skills.. who knows but n e ways so i almost got 4 ounces.. well i got gram for gram price becuz of the quality so i still made about $1000 handing out small amounts here and there over a week.. my original plan was to keep most of it for personal use when i was to move out of town for about a year and couldnt grow or knew n e one to buy from. but considering all the crap i went thru i had to get my money back for all the hardwork i did and money i spent.
haha ya i totally should have just sealed everything up, got a hardcore exhaust for the heat, and toss a bunch of lady bugs in there and flowered. BUT i didnt lol, didnt know much at the time and just ended up cutting everything down. I forget EXACTLY what i did now but i made sure i held onto some clones from one of the nice kush plants i had. And let me tell you those mights stuck with that strain for like 2 years.. i did 2 grows with that strain and we had mite problems on my second grow at my buddies which we were lucky to have a nice environment for them so they didnt get a chance to make any big webs or anything. But my third grow, holly FACK what a disaster of mites, they took right the fuck over lol. All i could do was maintain them by removing the webs and squishing as many mites as i could get, i wiped the leaves and sprayed them everyday with distilled water. THEN i had a bust scare so i chopped down like 11 of my 13 plants or something so i only had 3 (i did that becuz i was unsure of the legal amount to have, i later found out in canada u can have 4 plants, but once they are matured you get a fine whether they are female or male, so i would have kept an extra one but didnt kno at the time). So what a big mess its bin over these couple years growing, i have learnt a hell of alot from this site and experience. i can not wait to get another grow going i will have this one down pat for sure.

Yeah I had assumed those were long and done but you seem to have the proper know-how and hope you get more plants going!
haha thats awsome! when i was first growing i was so anal i would go out and buy them distilled water haha, my last grow i just filled jugs and let them sit for atleast 24 hours but would put air pumps in them to keep the water from getting stagnent (if thats how u spell that word lol)
Yeah man on my big plant I just used water from the sink so many times and most of the time it was cold :/ I've learned so many basic things. I got a 3gal bucket and filled it up and it sits my room. I don't have a pump but I get it pretty regular and my ceiling fan gives it some ripples if that even makes a difference lol.
lol ya after awhile i got lazy with the pump. cant say ive grown enough to notice a difference tho was just for piece of mind at first. But ya as long as its used before sitting more then 48 hours then i would think it wouldnt matter.
